Came in on a Friday evening for beer and snacks, it was great! They had a live DJ and the various games for that night on. Would come back to try their food and enjoy a chill night :)

Hella expensive for trash food. Don't even waste your money on some canned pasta. Burnt a$$ fries

Went there for dinner last Friday. We had the all meat pizza and it did not disappoint. We even went back on Saturday to listen to a band. Everyone is extremely friendly and the only downfall is I hope that they offer more gluten free food for some people who are sensitive.

Haven't tried the food yet, but I'm giving 4 stars for the service I received. I called in and the host said it'll take 30-40 minutes. When I came to pay for my order; the gentlemen probably the owner didn't see my order. He asked who took my order and went to ask. She came out and apologized and rang up my order. Owner gave me a 20% discount and a free drink. He came by while I was waiting, and apologized again. I really appreciate service like this. We were also on a time constraint and they put my order in immediately, so I didn't have to wait an additional 30 minutes. Also, they had a live DJ Rich Tek playing classic hits too! Nice to have a place like this in the neighborhood. Can't wait to try the food now. Okay, I'm back. Tried Mozzarella Sticks, Calamari, and Philly Cheesesteak. Could be better if food temperature was hotter. I can tell the calamari and mozzarella were under lamp. Philly was okay. Felt like it was missing something.. maybe sauce?

Decided to check out this new little place in our neighborhood. You can definitely tell they're new & still working out the kinks. That being said, the place was surprisingly packed! Not much for ambience, it felt kinda cold & sterile. There were several TVs all around so it could be a good place to come watch a game. They had a cute little live band playing some oldies. That definitely helped bring life to the place. Service was good! Friendly, quick, & attentive. They had a decent beer selection. I don't recall being too impressed with their wines & they don't have any hard liquor. Not sure if that will change or not. Now for the food! I was kinda surprised with all the Italian items on the menu. I guess I was expecting mostly pub fair?? ‍ Anyway, the apps were great!! My favorite was the fried pickles! The fried zucchini & the fries with bacon were my second faves! The calamari & wings were decent, but I've had better. The pizzas were pretty good; however, they put hard brown cubes of unidentified meat on the meat lovers pizza that we could've done without. However, the pizzas were better than the calzones, thats for sure. The calzones were too "bready" & there was minimal filling. Definitely something they could improve upon. Now the desserts....those were delish! We tried the tiramisu & the cannolis and I couldn't get enough! Overall, Buddies is a great little neighborhood joint & we will definitely come back in a few months to see what it's like after they get settled in.

Awesome Italian Chop Sandwich. I would drive across town for this one! Warm toasted roll and an Italian Chop Salad...spicy and delicious. Come check them out...I might join you at the bar!

I'm so sad to say, we went again today and got a completely different experience. We took our parents because we couldn't wait to share this delicious, fun new spot with them and unfortunately it was pretty awful today. We ordered the calamari again and mozzarella sticks. The calamari looked completely different than our diary time there, it was cold and had no seasoning. The mozzarella sticks looked crispy on the outside, but the cheese was not cooked on the inside. I hate sending things back, but they weren't edible and I was super nice about it. They came back a few minutes later and the cheese still wasn't cooked. :( We ordered the chopped sandwiches again and they were ok. Way more spicy than last time, but fine. My dads pepperoni calzone was "ok" at best and my sons breakfast burrito tasted like "nothing", plus was $20!!! We also ordered fries for the table and they never came. We mentioned after the waitress asked if we needed anything else, but she just assumed we didn't want them anymore and walked away. Didn't even ask or apologize. I'm so disappointed. If it was one thing, I'd totally understand, especially being a new and upcoming restaurant, but it was an experience that won't be bringing us back again. :(

Great place for food and (very) cheap beer! Only suggestion I would have would be to add something for more entertainment (dart board, pool table). It looks like they opened recently, so I hope they get more foot traffic - we were the only ones

House made, hand cut and battered mozzarella sticks were perfectly crispy and chewy, not over salted. Thin crust pizza with delicious, flavorful crust and good sauce and cheese. Not too greasy. Very welcoming and efficient staff. Clean new restaurant. A little loud and echoey due to high vaulted ceiling. Food is so good, we look forward to coming back!Vegetarian options: Build your own pizza lets you decide. Also there are pasta and sandwich options.Kid-friendliness: Pizza. Pasta. Sammiches. Casual setting.

The service was great but I ordered the fettuccine with chicken seemed like it took forever and when it did come out it was lukewarm at best, I didn't want to send it back since it took so long to get it, I just took it home and ate it the next day

Friendly and Attentive Service! Draft Beer was cold. Spaghetti and meatballs with 2 small slices of garlic bread was saucy and good proportion. Lasagna was probably 5/10 - came out a bit cold and no garlic bread. Can't wait to come back for the live music one day!

New place opens about a month ago. We went to check it and the food was really good. They had a live band for Valentine's Day and a chocolate fountain. Games were on and beer was cold! They were a little busy and handled it pretty well. Motz sticks were super good and the pizza was perfect! Overall would totally go again.
