Officially Closed I loved Buddy Teahouse so much. I would go there between classes or on the weekends. I loved their teas, smoothies, and snacks. Another local neighborhood business gone. So sad to see you go

Very disappointed. I asked for an oolong milk tea and got a cup full of ice. Seriously lady? She's so cheap. The oolong was supposed to come with Boba but she did not tell me she took that away. Never coming back again.

A really nice family owned boba shop!! The workers are always really friendly and welcoming. I usually get the honey roasted milk tea with boba. The drinks have a strong tea flavor and the boba is a nice consistency. They also sell ramen here which I haven't tried yet which I definitely wanna try eventually. Overall a nice little boba shop!

I was in the area, and was shocked that they had decided to OPEN a boba shop with snacks AFTER I graduated. Their teas are STRONG, had the 3G milk tea during the afternoon and I was up all night-- perfect for a late night studying session! Anyways, I defintely recommend y'all check em out and grab a drink while you're in the area.

Pretty nice boba place! Bought a couple drinks here, and although they put the crema in the wrong cup, the drinks still tasted good! This goes for all boba, but if you're not a fan of "sugar overload," I'd recommend dialing back your sugar percentage to 25-50% (the latter of which is still pretty sweet)! Their wintermelon milk tea (and from what my friend says) and matcha milk tea are recommended! I'd clarify if you want tapioca pearls or not, though, because the default seems to add pearls anyway :) Overall, the service here is super friendly and i'd love to return and try more of their menu!

Fast workers and fast service! Recommend for those that love brown sugar their Black Sugar Boba Milk! You can also add substitute like soy and almond milk (I think it taste better with almond milk)! A great place for college students to study as well too.

After 2.5 years of online classes, in-person class has finally come back to campus for everyone. This place used to be my best place to go get milk tea after my class but now their tea quality isn't as great as it was back than. Service was still friendly as always though.

Very nice staff, great boba and feels very home-y. Their boba is always just the right amount of chewiness, and I've like all the teas I've tried (taro, thai, honey brown rice). Perfect amount of sweetness as well.

They charged me more than the price list for the boba tea, and they told me that the price has risen but they haven’t updated the price list. It’s unfortunate they do that. Other than that, this place looks nice.

Super bad experience. Took forever for drinks to be done when there were no on in line. I ordered the taro milk tea w boba which was on the top ten list. It should be on bottom ten. Says it's fresh taro. Which is bs. Purple diluted chemicals. Lol u can even see that chunky white power in my drink. This drink was also $6. Fr $6 for fake tea. I would expect so much more. I took a sip and threw it away. Also. Not very hygienic to buy bulk straws and wrap them in Saran wraps. Overall use ur $6 to buy better boba.

Parking is really difficult to find as it's near SJSU/Downtown San Jose. The store is also quite small only a couple tables for groups of 4 ish. I ordered the Rain forest smoothie (4/5): flavor was good but the seeds added an unpleasant texture. Google/apple pay is accepted here. Overall buddy teahouse is a good place for who it's aimed towards (assuming SJSU students). Thus I wouldn't recommend it because of location.

This is my favorite place to get boba when I'm on campus! The owners are so sweet and welcome you with the biggest smile when you come in! They really make you feel like family unlike other boba shops. I feel welcomed every time I come in. I supported this business throughout the pandemic when the campus was closed while there weren't many customers and they still offered me the best service, busy or not. Thank you so much Buddy Teahouse! I went and ordered drinks the past few days and noticed they were having deals for coming back to campus!
