I had to wait in line but anyway, the people who serve you are very friendly and the bread is freshly made...I love the bolillos ?Parking: It is difficult to find parking since the businesses are next door and it is always full there.

Been coming to this bakery for years and they never disappoint. The bolillos is a must and Tortas are fire . The ppl commenting about price are idiots ,if everything went up in price because of inflation what makes you think there not going to raise there prices

I have gone here with my family for more than 10 years. I'm glad they still open early for bread. My only concern is that the prices have gone up quite a bit. Inflation hurts. Remember cash only. No cards or apple pay/Google pay.

The best bolillos hands down

The pan dulce is okay, but I am here for the tortas! The bolillo is really good and while the torta is pretty basic, the turkey torta tastes great.

Best bolillos in Town , crispy outside and soft inside

Hands down the best pan dulce in the Bay Area. All the pan I've had there is so flavorful, delicious, and fresh. And the prices are cheap! My favorite is either the elotes or the custard pastries. Been going here since I was a kid and it's still such great quality!

My dad had brought me a bolillo sandwich, bolillos, and conchas from this place and I was genuinely confused when he shared their business card. I called him to ask are you sure this is the place. It looks like it's an Asian bakery not Mexican bakery. My dad said yes and I had to come by and check it out myself. I came by on a weekday to find shelves of Mexican bread, refrigerator with soda, a ton of cameras, and items on printer paper. There's no menu but many handwritten signs all over the place. I asked the woman behind the counter if they took Apple Pay and she pointed to a sign that said CASH ONLY. I walked out checked my pockets for any cash because I had to have this Bolillo sandwich again! Found $12 in a pocket and I went back in. I waited for 7 minutes and the lady came back to the front and asked what are you having. I told her the Torta Sandwich and she pointed to which one on a croissant or bolillo. Of course it had to be on the bolillo! This sandwich is extremely basic on ingredients (ham, tomato, lettuce, onion, avocado, jalapeños) but it's so fresh and so delicious! I'm drooling just thinking about it. My order was ready about 5 minutes later and I also added a chocolate concha, 2 bolillos, and a Can of coke for a total of $11.35 The sandwich is magnificent! Absolutely enjoy it and crave it often. 10/10 It's wrapped up like a Banh Mi sandwich. Concha was not for me. The formula for the bread is not good and the topping was not plentiful. It did not have a classic flavor and was a pass for me. The bolillos here are perfect crunchy outside and soft inside. 10/10 The service is very transactional. Not friendly. Basic. The bolillo sandwich is my favorite and so delicious. There is only street parking and there's a couple spots in front. The conchas are not for me. I don't like the texture or flavor at all. I would be open to try other breads but don't have high hopes. The store almost looks abandoned when you walk in but it's a working bakery. No tables to sit inside or outside. Still confused if it's an Asian bakery as they didn't sell anything besides butter biscuits. Either way the sell a delicious bolillo sandwich that I would eat again and again. My dad found a bolillo sandwich gem here!

False advertising on their business hours. It says they closed at 9pm everyday but they closed at 2pm. Just saving you all a trip there.

Tp preface my mother and father have been going to this bakery since I was only 3 or 4 years old and I am now 25. Everything I've ever ate here was delicious. Highly highly recommend. And even if you don't like sweet things they have great individual bread rolls. My mom makes scrambled egg sandwiches with them and the bread is literally the best I've ever tasted. They speak Spanish, Vietnamese and English so don't be worried to try it out. If you live in San Jose you should definitely check this place out.
