It's a good place to have a cuppa and work.

A nice chill cafe in San Jose to catch up with friends. Lots of seating to have conversations indoors.

I met a friend at Cafe Bene for the first time and it is a nice cafe like the pictures on Yelp and Google. I ordered a milk tea iced and My friend ordered a decaf coffee.
The server was nice and it was not crowded at 11:00 in the morning, Wednesday. It has a nice wood interior and it's not very loud, my friend and I were probably the loudest. I recommend Cafe Bene if you're looking for a quiet Cafe to work or meet a friend for a conversation.
We didn't order any food but of course, the menu items and desserts looked very tempting.

Customer service standards are lacking in terms of how they greet customers. But they are straightforward and make your order promptly.
WiFi password changes everyday, if you return you will need to forget the network on all your devices and enter the new password for the day. Not the end of the world but definitely adds extra to your day, but I understand since they don’t want people to come in and WiFi squat.
Ordered a Matcha Latte with Oat Milk ($8.42 with tax). They have some outlets along the walls which is sufficient but chances are you won’t be able to get an outlet since the seats along the wall are mostly taken. Came in at two different times on a weekday at around 12:00pm and 5:30pm. That is what I concluded.
Wheelchair accessibility: Has an accessible seating labeled with handicap symbol. Cannot validate how handicap friendly it is. But they have it.

Avoid scheduling order pickups in the morning. This is the third time I've experienced their terrible service. I usually order 6–7 drinks for pickup in the morning for work, and they are never ready on time. I choose the pickup time based on my meeting schedule, but I always end up running late due to their delays. Twice, I placed my order the day before using their website, yet every time I arrived, they were still "preparing" it.
This time, I intentionally arrived 30 minutes late, and they still hadn’t prepared my order, causing me to be late again. The staff member with orange hair was incredibly rude and unprofessional, not even bothering to apologize for the delay. Instead, she looked irritated, as if it wasn’t a big deal.
I won’t be ordering from them again. It's better to order online, pay extra, and have my drinks delivered to my workplace.

It was extremely busy when I went. Lots of people working on their laptop. Thankfully, they had a nice seating area outside, which is nice on a cool day. They have a lot of pastries and cakes, and they genuinely looked really good, but I didn’t try any. I got an iced Americano, and the coffee was certainly high-quality and not overly acidic. It’s not one of your cute cafes where you go to read or relax, but rather can be good place if you want to grab a quick coffee.

The matcha frappe and latte were horrible - no discernible matcha flavor, it seemed almost like green food coloring was used, and for $8, was a total rip-off. The sandwich was just as bad - for $15, I was expecting a sub, but it was two tiny squares on a small plate; at least that was tasty.

Decent coffee. The place is always crowded by working professionals and is noisy when they are on calls

A cozy spot with great lattes and pastries—I tried the Earl Grey pastry, and it was fantastic. The café is popular, making it a lively place to work or catch up with friends. There’s a parking garage for convenience, and while outdoor seating is available, it’s right next to the street.
