Pros:
- lots of desks
- good atmosphere, bookshelves and decorations
- wifi is fast
- convenient parking

Cons
- ordered a rose cloud matcha, zero matcha taste unfortunately
- weird wifi password process. I get that it changes every day but you have to get a printed receipt, or else they wont tell you the password. If you forget to print a receipt, you have to walk in line again and ask them to print it.

Got the cold brew with the Ube foam and a mushroom croissant. Croissant was sorta of overpriced a barely filled Kirkland croissant. I could barely taste the Ube in the coffee.

The space is nice and spacious with big tables for working and the staff is nice.

I like the vibe the place generates. Casual and pretty chill. The location is excellent to attract students and working class people. The staff js helpful and is generally quick in getting your order. We had the mint cold brew latte and red velvet latte. Mint cold brew is definitely recommended. Variety of other options to choose from. Don't forget to try the pastries and the bakery items too.

I have been to this coffee shop in 2023 & 2024 like once every 2 months and staff was amazing, even once my coffee was not good & they replaced it happily.
But today I visited here, and they gave me Shakerato when I asked for less sweet and that was 0% sweet while I asked for less sweet, when I asked to replace it the lady very rudely said ‘sorry no we can’t do that’.
FYI, owners of this shop do not know how to you run a coffee shop. Go to Dutch Bros please and learn something about ‘Customer Service’. Stop giving this nay area attitude of ‘sorry that’s our policy’ to people & grow up with better customer service.

Wobbly tables, different wi-fi password every visit that's only shared on receipt, and uncomfortable booth seating...

Nice place, a little bit more personality to it than Starbucks has. The hazelnut latte was tasty and the cream was thick and delicious.

The manager with the red and orange hair is incredibly disrespectful. I was providing genuine feedback about hours however, she gave me a very disgusting face that even my friend noticed she was making and completely brushed me off. Very rude. She should not be a manager if she can’t control her facial expressions and gives disrespectful responses when I was being extremely polite.

A nice chill cafe in San Jose to catch up with friends. Lots of seating to have conversations indoors.

I met a friend at Cafe Bene for the first time and it is a nice cafe like the pictures on Yelp and Google. I ordered a milk tea iced and My friend ordered a decaf coffee.

The server was nice and it was not crowded at 11:00 in the morning, Wednesday. It has a nice wood interior and it's not very loud, my friend and I were probably the loudest. I recommend Cafe Bene if you're looking for a quiet Cafe to work or meet a friend for a conversation.

We didn't order any food but of course, the menu items and desserts looked very tempting.

Customer service standards are lacking in terms of how they greet customers. But they are straightforward and make your order promptly.

WiFi password changes everyday, if you return you will need to forget the network on all your devices and enter the new password for the day. Not the end of the world but definitely adds extra to your day, but I understand since they don’t want people to come in and WiFi squat.

Ordered a Matcha Latte with Oat Milk ($8.42 with tax). They have some outlets along the walls which is sufficient but chances are you won’t be able to get an outlet since the seats along the wall are mostly taken. Came in at two different times on a weekday at around 12:00pm and 5:30pm. That is what I concluded.

Wheelchair accessibility: Has an accessible seating labeled with handicap symbol. Cannot validate how handicap friendly it is. But they have it.

Avoid scheduling order pickups in the morning. This is the third time I've experienced their terrible service. I usually order 6–7 drinks for pickup in the morning for work, and they are never ready on time. I choose the pickup time based on my meeting schedule, but I always end up running late due to their delays. Twice, I placed my order the day before using their website, yet every time I arrived, they were still "preparing" it.

This time, I intentionally arrived 30 minutes late, and they still hadn’t prepared my order, causing me to be late again. The staff member with orange hair was incredibly rude and unprofessional, not even bothering to apologize for the delay. Instead, she looked irritated, as if it wasn’t a big deal.

I won’t be ordering from them again. It's better to order online, pay extra, and have my drinks delivered to my workplace.
