We tried out this place my neighbor recommended, and we loved it! Delicious food and great service. It was busy on a Saturday evening but not so much to be crowded. We had the birria burrito without onions and two crispy tacos, one tongue and one steak. He loved the tacos but next time wants soft tacos. I loved the burrito. I was worried it would be too salty but it was not. The only thing I didn't like was my drink, the mango lemonade, but I know other people do like it so it might just be me.

Service is great, food is incredible. Definitely get the tacos. Love bringing all my friends and family here; everyone has enjoyed their meals so far. Great outdoor seating as well. Come hungry!

Amazing food, great service, the ambiance is great. The queso fundido is the best thing on the menu, I highly suggest you order this. So delicious, I will be back.

Unfortunately, I'm only giving this place 4 stars. They lost a star because the server was not at all friendly. Also, I don't want to go back until they lower the super loud music! The food is good, but I can't take not being able to hear my family and friends when they're talking.

I came here with my boyfriend for dinner and enjoyed our food very much! The place was not busy at all and we were seated immediately! There's a lot of tables to sit at and there's also outdoor seating too. Not only can you eat here but you can order for to go too! Guacamole(5/5): I was gonna give it a 3/5 but the orange seasoning that came with it saved the day! It was very delicious and the seasoning adds a nice saltiness to the dip. I will say though, the chips were really hard to consume. It was very crunchy and it made an uncomfortable feeling while chewing. Little Crispy Tacos(5/5): My meat choices were steak, shrimp, and beef tongue! Everything was so good! I loved how everything complimented one another and adding the orange sauce adds a whole other level! The sauce just makes you want more! The meat was nicely seasoned as well as tender! I liked that they provided a fork so that you can scoop any toppings that fell off the taco! Service(5/5): Our server was so nice, friendly, attentive, and helpful! We witnessed them giving one of their decorations to a baby! It was adorable! Overall, a really good place to enjoy Mexican food!

Hi all, this is the second time I've been to Cali Spartan. Vegetarian here, I've had a good experience so far until I ordered 2 veggie burritos for takeout, both filled with meat. Not just a few pieces but they made a full meat burrito and wrote veg on them. I opened them at home, found out they both have meat, called them, they offered me a refund or to remake the burritos and brought it back. I had to call 5 separate times until they picked up, but assuming they're busy it's fine. I took them in and handed the burritos to them for a remake, in a few minutes they handed me the remakes so I checked them and found a few pieces of meat in them. At this point a little fed up, I understand it can happen here and there but found meat in the remakes too. Food overall is decent but I will not be returning to Cali Spartan.

The food is always delicious here. One of my go to spots for tacos. The little crispy tacos have a crunchy tortilla and you get to choose which meat to get on it. They have a stand with add ons such as diced onions, cilantro, green sauce, orange sauce, pickled onions, etc. The place is pretty spacious with lots of tables and chairs but come meal times, it can get really packed. The food takes a normal amount of time to come out and the servers are very nice when asking questions or for extra salsa.

This place was packed on a Saturday night so we figured, let's try it, it must be good! I ordered a strawberry aqua fresca, which was sweet with a fresh strawberry taste. I got 3 street tacos, a crispy taco, and a small fries. The fries were an enormous portion which was awesome and they were very hot and crispy with a fantastic flavor! Great fries! The cabesa taco had the softest meat as did the lengua. No way could I finish all that food, so I have a good little meal for tomorrow. Service was great, and the atmosphere was lively. They do charge a fee for using a credit card, so we paid cash.

Not sure what the hype is.... The chicken was bone dry on both the nachos and the quesadilla. The carne asada was more like ground beef. I will say the portions are very big for what you pay so that's a plus.

I went here today because another Mexican restaurant I wanted to go to was closed on Easter. To be honest, Taco Bell would've been better than the food I got here. Everything I ordered was bland. I got a veggie super burrito that was loaded with rice and lettuce, barely any beans. My husband had the same experience with his super burrito with carne asada. I also ordered the cali fries which were probably the oiliest fries I've ever had, and had absolutely no flavor. The menu talks about how they use mozzarella cheese instead of cheese sauce, which to be honest isn't something to brag about. Mozzarella cheese is the most bland cheese out there that hardens pretty quick. I would recommend using a cheese like Oaxaca or chihuahua if you're going to talk about how you use "real cheese" rather than a cheese sauce. They melt better and have a much better flavor than mozzarella. Although the restaurant staff were kind, I personally wouldn't recommend this place based on food quality or taste alone.

One of our favorites for Mexican food. The food is delicious and fresh! I gave it a 4 star only because they are slow when it comes to bringing chips and salsa and drinks..Parking: The parking lot is big.

My favorite places to get birria tacos! It's soooo good and reasonably priced. My BF likes the brisket burrito and always gets it. This time I tried their shrimp tacos and enchiladas which were good, but I still am biased towards the birria. I usually takeout when I order, but dining in also provides great and attentive service. The interior of the restaurant is nice and spacious, with a cashier near the door for paying and picking up orders. They have plenty of sauce to choose from but my favorite is the orange sauce. Note it is pretty spicy! Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5

This was back in December 10th last year--I tried their quesabirria and it was delicious! The sauce it came with was scrumptious and loads of flavor! I definitely recommend this place who wants some authentic and good Mexican food.
