This location saves me to going to the one in downtown Gilroy. I just go for the carnitas. It's an easy breakfast/lunch to take home for the family. We pick up 2lb for a group of seven. The green salsa is not to spicy but great flavor. The red salsa is spicier. You can sit down and have other foods that they offer too. I just prefer to take it to go. The servers are quick on preparing the to go orders too!

I got an asada super burrito and my wife got a birria quesadilla with consumme. Both were good, my asada was flavorful and beefy, the burrito was pretty big, I shared some and could barely finish. The birria was good, my wife dipped hers in the consumme, which isn't as salty as some other places, it was tasty enough to just drink like a soup. Price was reasonable, we were both feeling stuffed. We got takeout but the inside was spacious but had a few tables available, even for the late lunch we had.

This place is great find. Although i thought it was just a carnitas place it was not. They have excellent carne asada! I ordered 3 and i was very satisfied. My one suggestion is they should open up a spot where you can self serve salsa and jalepenos. I definitely will be back here again!

The carnitas are super salty, they have good seasoning but very salty, yes I would keep coming back but they would pay attention to that detail. I think I'm not the only one who comments on that.
This place is amazing! We've only had takeout but the carnitas is on point. The family sized meals are great value and absolutely delicious. We just moved south and I think we just found our new local spot. Highly recommended

I give it a three because the service was good with a friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is modern and clean. If you like non spicy Mexican food it will be fine. However, I had a disappointing Huevos Rancheros. Basically two eggs on two fried eggs with a bland red sauce over them. I believe the cost was $18.00. Not even in Monterey, Mexico would this plate be considered Huevos Rancheros.

One of the tastiest chile verde burritos i have had in a while. Rice tastes authentic, soft tortilla. And juicy tender meat. 10/10. I highly recommend chile verde from this place.
