I was so excited to try this pizza place since I've seen them several times at the Campbell Farmer's market. A small cheese was over $30, which I thought was steep but happy to pay more for good quality pizza. When it was done I opened the box & noticed it looked burnt, the woman working there assured me it was fine, it was supposed to be like that. However I took a bite (and another just ensure I wasn't imagining things) & it clearly was burnt. The male worker was very kind & apologetic when I mentioned it tasted awful & burnt. I couldn't t get the amount of the transaction on my Apple Pay, but he gave me the cash refund. I just wish they would have done better quality control & not downplay that it was burnt, and offer to make it right there on the spot, rather then me having to ask for a refund. At the end they did offer to remake it but at that point my son's lunch was getting cold. I do appreciate how tough it is, especially at the Farmer's market. My parents owned a restaurant so I know it's not easy. That said, I expected a bit more. Other artisan/Detroit style pizzas will also be a more filling for the price point.

The cheese on the pizza here is always gooey and delicious. It is the perfect amount.

Had a half pizza at the Campbell Farmers market today and was shocked that 2 smediumish pieces were $17.50. Definitely wasn't with it. Had to actually take it home and crisp up the bottom more on my cast iron. Additionally, I would think that if if you're gonna offer a soda or water, and you run out of waters, thst you'd take off a $1 on the pizza. I also didn't like that they charged a credit card service charge of $1.50 without consent. I would have paid cash otherwiseThere's definitely better Detroit style pizza options that are more reasonably priced

Best Detroit style pizza in the South Bay. Don't let the ghost kitchen scare you away. This is legit pizza in an area of below standard pizza places.

I discovered Carrson's pizza when I was looking for a new pizza spot on yelp. I was craving some Detroit style pizza and boy did it deliver! I met Will, who is the owner and chef. Very nice guy! We talked for a few minutes. The location is at a shared kitchen, it was a really cool environment! As for the pizza, it's a huge portion and the flavors are amazing. I got pepperoni and sausage with extra cheese and sauce. The toppings were plentiful!. Thanks Will!

We had their pizza at the Willow Glen Farmer's Market. We really liked the pizza even if it was precooked and kept warm for the market. We are looking forward to a fresh, crispier pizza from their shop. This is Detroit style pizza: a very thick crust with crispy edges. We felt that both the cheese and pepperoni were high quality.

Tucked away in a shared kitchen space, Carrson's pizza was amazing. My fiancé and I ordered the Smoked and the No Greens and added onions. The pizza was simple, but extremely flavorful. Overall we'd definitely recommend stopping by and we look forward to trying other pizzas in the future!

We had the Margarita pizza which was excellent. This is a very small operation tucked away and not easily found but worth looking for. All of the pizzas on the Yelp site for this business looked good, but we especially liked the Margarita pizza with an excellent bread like "crust". Very fresh and tasty.

Another week another local pizza place to try! This is also hidden in a ghost kitchen - expect about 30 mins or so for prep time . We ordered the Detroit-style margarita which was pretty good - fresh tomato sauce (even a little spicy , which I liked ), great cheese , the dough was a tad bit too thin for me, was overall good. The one thing I would change is perhaps the size for 18$, it was able to feed 2 not-too-hungry adults. I would perhaps think about increasing the size by 20%(ish)Not the best Detroit style in the area (slice of homage is still the undisputed choice for that) but a descent option for a quick, close Detroit style pizza

I've never had Detroit pizza before and was able to try some from their stand at the farmers market. It was delicious. I am a fan of Chicago pizza, but this pizza from Carrson's was absolutely delicious. I had the mushroom one and will definitely go to their brick and mortar shop.

This was delicious pizza! I'm from Michigan, and I haven't had Detroit style pizza in years. The dough was crisp on the bottom, and fluffy in the middle. The sauce was nice and tangy. My friend called in the order for pick up, and due to the poor weather, the dough hadn't risen enough. The lovely owner told us to wait to pick it up until the dough had time to rise. He very kindly gave my friend a free pizza to compensate for the extra time to wait. The free pizza was made with smoked mozzarella, onion, and tomato. I wouldn't have chosen that, but it was so flavorful! The other one was a great veggie pizza. I would love to go back soon. Give it a try! You won't regret it.

Can't across Yelp and wanted to try new style of Pizza and great that I did. Called order in for a pepperoni and olive pizza and the person took order and explained place hard to find. It's at 1505 S Winchester at the corner of Winchester and Cadillac Drive in a shared kitchen, next to Los Cuates Mercado. Area not the greatest, but honestly, worth it for the Detroit style pizza!Got there a bit early so had to wait about 5 mins. Once you see the 1505 kitchen, you have to ring a bell to get in to pick up your food.Met the owner, Will, and he brought me over to his kitchen area to wait, and says since he was closing up, gave me a free pizza. So while waiting he tells me he shares the area with 3-5 other food businesses. We talked a bit bout how he started and he's trying to grow his business. Says he's been in tech as a programmer and wanted to try something new. Says he loved baking and his mom was there saying he's great with breads, croissants, etcSo brought home the pizzas to son and myself and let's say these are Fantastic! All organic and with a lot of toppings. For the Detroit style, outside crust was crispy, but the inside was light and airy! Pizza size about 9"x7" , but after 2 slices, I was full! Wife tried it and hates thick crust, but says would try this again! Son find he's his but he's a teenager and could put that down without a problem!Highly recommend if you get the chance! So make the trip to try this! Will mentioned he will be selling his pizzas in Campbell Farmers Market starting in January 2023 so keep an eye out for him!

Fantastic flavor! Both the sauce and dough are super tasty, and the pepperoni was just the right amount of spicy. One of the best Detroit-style pizzas I've found in the Bay Area, and being from Michigan I have high standards. It's also priced right.Place is takeout only, it's part of a shared kitchen but in a good way (not like a corporate ghost kitchen). When I went to pick up I met Will, the proprietor of Carrson's, and he's super passionate about getting things just right. And by the door there was a lady making crapes, next time I'll have to order a healthy dessert for after my pizza.
