Tried the cochinita pibil and the mole empanadas, both were outstanding, super flaky crust and delicious filling. Also got the rice pudding sweet empanada for dessert, equally fantastic!

I arrived in an odd time way after lunch way before dinner… But I was starving. I expected a mediocre empanada and a bland cup of coffee. Instead, I got the most delicious flaky empanada and an amazing fresh coffee. Definitely going back.

I think if music was authentic Mexican to keep with theme rather than rock oldies, the atmosphere would be better.

The absolute best empanada in the world. Every type they have is incredible, stuffed full of meats, cheeses, and more. We really loved the mushroom and the chorizo. The desserts are fantastic too! They're all so big, so flavorful, with the most amazing flakey dough. The service is so kind and so quick. I highly recommend eating here.

Casa Guzman makes great empanadas. I have tried them all over the past couple of years. The new cream cheese and guava dessert empanada is amazing. The staff is helpful and quick.I tend to do take away because the ovens they use to heat them make them soggy instead of crisp.

Vegetarian options: The spinach and cheese empanadas are very good. I don’t think there are any vegan options.

Wheelchair accessibility: This is a tiny storefront but I’ve never heard a problem maneuvering my giant powerchair in to order and pick up my food. If “eating in” I’d choose one of the outdoor tables.

Love the flakyness of the empanadas, great flavours love the mole and chicken one.I feel like they could definitely toast the empanadas a bit more though so they're not too soft.Of the sweet ones, I liked the guava empanada.Not the friendliest of staff though but I'm guessing they were just tired?I'll be back to try the cochinita pibil one.

Stopped for an iced tea and a short rest on a long walk; a little quiet but folks were picking up special orders and items to go. Definitely coming back with friends to try many things!!
