One of my absolute favorite cocktail bars! The drinks are fantastic and fairly priced, and Jay is a phenomenal mixologist — always friendly, creative, and eager to introduce me to new cocktails (though it’s tough to pass up the $7 Sazerac!). Whether you’re starting your day at noon or winding down after midnight, Cash Only never disappoints. Don’t forget to ask about their barrel select program — it’s definitely worth checking out!

I had a wonderful time at this bar. Great music. Jay, the bartender is excellent. When I arrived, the doorman told me that he had stopped letting people in. However, he allowed me to come inside. I'm glad that he did. If you are visiting San Jose and you want to enjoy a good beer and great customer service, then visit this bar.

Whiskey forward bar with a great selection on niche bottles and plenty of classic cocktails plus a few specialty. Bartenders are always friendly and the crowd is usually relaxed (except maybe Saturday). Always a good time regardless!

Wife and friends had a hell of a time in Cash only after the Morgan Wallen concert in San Jose. Liked the atmosphere, staff, drinks, and pool table. Wearing a Trump-Vance as “stepbrothers” tee shirt was no problem.

Just be a decent person tip the bartenders and you'll be fine I went here yesterday (July 19th 2025) and today (July 20th 20025) and it's been the same welcoming and kind experience each time 10/10 this place is amazing and I'd highly suggest it if your going to get a drink
