Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Was having high expectations on the late night take out. I ordered Veg Biryani, which was flat in taste. There was no spice at all. Just like eating plain rice.To make it worst, the to go box was having a crack in the bottom.Need I say any further?

Chennai Kings has been my first priority go-to when I feel like having Indian curry ever since I started college life here. Their food is awesome! Personal Favorite is butter chicken and goat curry. Under this covid pandemic, it has tables neither indoor and outdoor. Doesn't matter, wouldn't stop me from eating curry.

I ordered some Dosas and Parottas around 10:30-10:45 pm. This food was absolutely delicious and amazing. South Indians are the Gods of cuisine. Nothing comes even remotely close to their food. I will order again when I am out that way. I don’t know why so many people are complaining about this restaurant, I was completely satisfied. Nanri. ?

I have had food from here for quite a while now. The quality of the food is alright. The reason I choose this place cuz I like to eat food at odd times like past midnight.. lmaoRecently, I found out I was being ripped off. Well not just me but all the people who have been coming here for a year now. The prices that they have posted here .. apparently “they are outdated.”They changed the prices and am pretty sure no one is aware of that.Based on my order for tonight the total should have been 31$ (taking the prices which is posted online and shown to clients at the restaurant while ordering food).But I was told it was 40$ cash no tax and there’s discount added to it.To be honest the price change doesn’t even matter nor bother me at all.Its just the fact that they changed the price and the clients like me weren’t aware of it like not even letting us know about the price change instead they just have the old menu in front.Like if you guys are doing a business at least be honest and do things the right way. Have the courtesy to tell the clients at least that the price they are seeing its not the price in the system…its more than that.Big time Scam!!Anyways, I confronted the guy and asked him about it. He got mad at me and told me instead of asking me “what should I do about it.” He didn’t even ask me but told me want me to cancel the order!.. Again, like wasn’t that supposed to be a question?After he said that I left the shop and he closed the shop. Even though the google maps says that they are open till 3am.Such a shady food business.

Poor call experience. Wanted to place a take out order but the person was terrible in talking and cut the call many times. Didn’t even bother to return the call.

We like a lot hanging out. Yesterday we found this superb restaurant which friends told us about. We spent a delightful time there with exceptional meal and a well-trained stuff and a professional cuisine. We put this venue in our phone list and we will surely come back very soon. We warmly recommend.
I honestly don't know how I never got around to writing Chennai Kings a yelp review. But as a college student this place saved my life. Stayed up till 1 AM writing that essay and forgot to eat? Run across the street to get yourself some Chennai Kings. Their consistency might not always be the best as they have switched between three different owners in the time that I've been going here. But their accessibility and time open is ideal. It's worth one shot and maybe another, because like I said the consistency of the food varies. Get their butter chicken, 2 sides of paratha, and the gulab jamun! Best Indian midnight munchies for an affordable cost.

The food is good. No lie. However the food is very inconsistent. You ask for a butter chicken and rice and you get butter chicken with beriani rice. What's up with that? I'm allergic to cinnamon and beriani rice has cinnamon. One time the butter chicken had green bell peppers and most times it does not. Please get your act together. It's not hard to use the same recipe for the same dish. The only good thing they have is that they are open until 3am but at this point it's not worth it. I'd rather eat in out or Carl's Jr late at night instead of being unsure of what I'm getting that night.
