It’s a small place I but the food is very good and staffs are very nice. Had the Hainan chicken, bento box very flavorful, my friends ordered the scrambled eggs chow fun both regular and vegetarian style and both were very good too. The crispy prawn taro roll was unique and good too. Definitely a place I’ll visit again tk try other dishes. They usually take order and payment from the app.

Then he tells me...Hey, since you're coming over anyway can you stop at Chicken Licious and snag an order I just called in. Well, since it was on the way I told my pal Lupis Cankersore ..sure I'll stop, and I'll get enough for the three of us. What a treat it was to enjoy some of the wonderful foods from Chicken Licious! It's a 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ experience every time, and well worth a visit.

So happy to have found this place! I've been looking for authentic Malaysian food in the Bay Area since traveling to Singapore and Malaysia (specifically looking for asam laksa). This restaurant surpassed my hopes and I'll definitely be coming back!

Highly recommended! Order through self service and plenty of parking out there. We got the Laksa and Hainan chicken. Chicken is very flavorful and tender. Laksa is flavored perfectly. There’s also chicken soup on the house which was great. Food is authentic overall. Plus the owner/staff is super friendly and welcoming, will definitely visit again.

If you’re craving authentic Malaysian cuisine in the Bay Area, you need to check out Chicken Licious in San Jose! This place is such a gem, everything from the service to the flavors felt warm and homey.
Right after ordering, the owner gave us a little soup cup to fill with warm chicken soup for free! It was the perfect cozy start. There are also two kinds of fruit-infused water, both super refreshing, especially with all the spicy dishes.
The sauce bar deserves its own shoutout, there's so many options, and honestly every single one tasted great. My favorite was the spicy garlic sauce, it was absolute perfection with every dish.
We ordered the Ayam Bakar meal, and it completely blew us away. The chicken was unbelievably juicy and packed with smoky, deep flavor. Even the rice was seasoned so well. Definitely a 10/10.
The spicy Mee Goreng came loaded with shrimp and had the perfect kick and was another 10/10. We also tried the super hot popcorn chicken, which disappeared within minutes because it was that good. Super crispy, spicy, and addictive!
To cool things down, we ended the meal with a pudding dessert, which balanced everything perfectly.
The service was warm, the atmosphere was inviting, and the food truly felt like something made with love. Chicken Licious is going straight onto my go-to list for comfort food in San Jose. Highly recommend!

Came here for lunch on a weekend with some friends after hearing about this place on social media. We have tried various Singapore/Malaysian restaurants in the Bay Area and wanted to see how this one fare. We were not disappointed. The Char Kway Tiao and egg Hor Fun were well fried and had good wok hey - something which is hard to find anywhere. The curry puff is very fluffy and the filling flavorful. We also had chicken rice and noodles. The restaurant is located in an old school Asian/Vietnamese strip mall (think traditional herbal medicine and sundry store) with plenty of parking. Order at front counter and seats are first come first serve. Overall a good choice if in area.

Order at kiosk, get your utensils and water. If you are eating in, you will be given bowls for the broth. We ordered egg rolls, both kinds. Also shared char kway teow and nasi lemak. We liked the egg rolls and noodles, fun textures. The nasi lemak is an acquired taste with plenty of ginger and lemon grass. Our chicken serving had two backs and not enough meat. The sauce was a tad oily.
