I expected more from this place! I only came to this spot because the Chinese food spot I go to is closed on Monday. First off the flavor was not there the quality was not good either not to mention the portion size for the price. Last time I go here!

Everything smells great and I could see everything being prepped fresh in be kitchen. Promising first impression Ordered takeout. Crab Puffs, candied prawns and white rice. I was disappointed by the food quality.

It's a small place with about 6 tables and it seems like most people get takeout. But we were given paper menus and ordered the Chef's special fried rice (come with shrimp and BBQ pork) and the Four Seasons dish under the "beef" submenu, which consists of broccoli, zucchini, button mushrooms, and different meats like chicken, beef, and shrimp in a lightly sweet brown sauce.

Super yumm lunch! The lady was so sweet and kind offering suggestions over the phone (before hand) on where to park due to construction outside. The food flavors are so yummy and portions just right! Please support this family owned small business, they survived covid and no doubt they are delicious! Parking semi convenient on the street, located next to jewelers and corner of alameda by some church.

Ordered the below food from here a couple of days back through Uber East1. Vegetable Fried Rice2. Kung Pao TofuI am going to be strictly honest here. I was highly disappointed with the quality and quantity of Vegetable Fired rice. It was not cooked properly. I tasted terrible, literally no flavors at all. I had to add all the kinds of flavors (even salt) by myself to make it edible. It costs pretty high for such low standard tasteless food.Kung Pao Tofu was just ok.One thing is for sure, I am never ordering food from here ever again.

My original rating upon writing this review was a 4/5 but docking a star since the flavors did not sit well with me when I got home. Super small shop that I was told would be a hit or miss with seating, but they do turn up the heater in the winter you'll be warm no matter where you stand or sit! Parking is super super limited (if any), we did street parking a few blocks down in the neighborhood. My friend recommended the hot and sour soup. It was my first time trying it so I didn't know what to expect - it was interesting and had a nice flavor. Hot and sour, indeed! I loved the addition of bamboo shoots to it. My favorite dish would be the chowmein. I love the choice of noodles they use and how they're cooked. We also ordered the kung pao chicken and another chicken entree that were just okay. They both had A LOT of mushrooms and zucchini so it's vegetable heavy and very appealing to the eye but didn't stick out to me flavor-wise. Almost every dish had the same addition of ingredients so in some way it looked the same.

I feel like I just got scammed 1 dish for the price of 3. I'm kidding, but seriously all the sauces on the food here taste exactly the same - sweet, sour, sticky. Basically everything that's bad about America Chinese food. Don't go here. If you want American style Chinese food, just go to Panda Express. At least they have different sauces.

This is actually a five star restaurant, but I'm knocking it down to four stars for one reason...a big reason. They took their Chicken Salad off the menu. It was, probably, my favorite menu item and one of the best chicken salads around. I am so disappointed, I'm going to look for another Chinese restaurant to replace this one as my to-go place. If you don't care for chicken salad, their other dishes are excellent, but for me, without the chicken salad, I'm not interested.
