The service and atmosphere at the Chipotle in Newhall, San Jose just aren’t what they used to be. They scoop the food into your bowl like they’re serving animals at a farmhouse, and the whole process feels rushed and sloppy. Pots and pans get dropped, the place feels tense, and the customer service lacks care. I still love the quality of the food, so I guess I just have to put up with it.

This Chipotle is horrible! We ordered 2 bowls and we could not finish our meals. It was way too salty!

Do not get the red chimichrra, it is a salt bomb. I could not finish it , it was that salt. Normally I could finish a whole bowl but I could not this time. I wish I tasted it before dumping the whole thing on to my bowl. If your food research team approved this then they need to be fired. If it just this location then they need to taste before it is served to the customer. If this not fresh and has been sitting for days then the fermentation process will make this stronger. And not having this in the refrigerator, which will slow down the fermentation is a bad idea. You have this over the steamer which will speed up the fermentation and in which the concentrate flavors will be stronger.

I recently went for the first time in years. The last time I went the food was too salty and years later it's still too salty. I won't be going back.

I should have checked the reviews before visiting this location. The customer service was awful, and not to mention the greedy protein portions. It's been years since I ate at Chipotle and I was looking forward to it. Definitely regretting this decision as my bowl had barely any meat.

Friendly staff, typical Chipotle nothing exciting but then again nobody eats here for the atmosphere, same old steel walls and wooden chairs.

Portions are a joke... they even poured some of the chicken out of the spoon before serving like it was coming out of their paycheck. There is a different Chipotle on industrial road, dont bother with this one.

I recently ordered a chicken bowl from this location through DoorDash. There was no silverware included, and since I was staying at a hotel, I had no access to silverware. I was unable to eat my food. I’m now out $20.

I really like Chipotle and enjoy the food, but it’s hard to have a good experience when the staff seem unhappy or rushed. The way they serve — with attitude or carelessness — affects the overall vibe. Management should invest in staff support and training; better service would make a big difference.
Also they don’t have chipotle sauce ironically when we asked for

Skimped on the rice and meat, overpriced add ons…cannot believe I paid for this. Will never return to this location.

Food is great. But the service can be bad at times, specifically the new staff is really bad with the portion sizes. How come they dont go easy on the cash register as well ? Charging full prices but the portion sizes can sometimes be a measly 60-65% of the usual Chipotle portion size.
Couple of the employees dont actually give you a heads up on the stuff they're running low on or even worse completely out, imaging waiting in the queue for 15 minutes and then getting to know Chicken is out. That's a recipe for disaster to Chipotle's image.

Is this really a standard Chipotle portion?
I placed an Uber Eats order from this location, and what I received is extremely disappointing. Just compare the photo on their Uber Eats advertisement to what I actually got. I even paid extra for additional chicken, and this is what was delivered—straight out of the box. You can even see the food mark on the lid, proving it hasn't been touched.
I paid $24 for this burrito bowl alone, not including any other fees. This feels like a scam.
To make things worse, I accidentally gave the restaurant a five-star rating in the Uber survey, it was meant for the driver, not the restaurant.
Just going to keep leaving one star reviews till the service is ok it’s always so bad

I ordered a bowl and the meat and corns are extremely salty. I have to drink a 1L water to digest it.
