Best Mexican food in all of San Jose
Best burrito in San Jose. Always fresh and great portions and the chips are sooo good!!
Found this place through their menu mailer that they sent out when they opened. Been coming ever since. Great food, and great prices and homemade tortillas! Also have THE best chips anywhere!
Very tasty and fresh, authentic
The food is good and yet I’m not sure I’ll visit them as frequently as I used to. Their vegan burrito - rice and vegetables- is more expensive than their meat one. It’s not about the extra $2, more of a principle
That was the greasiest, dirtiest, oiliest breakfast burrito I've ever eaten. That was the first and last time I eat there. I couldn't even add beans or anything to it, because they made it in the back.
My wife and I come here like once a month sometimes twice and grab a breakfast burrito. There are options on the type of breakfast burrito, and the tortillas are made fresh. Workers are always nice and welcoming. My wife keeps telling me we gotta come back and try the regular fare sometime, but we haven't yet. Hope to change that soon. Seating area is very small, if you are looking for sit down this place can't handle big parties.
Very expensive. Too expensive.
$14 for a burrito bowl.
Serving was much less than generous
Flavor is good but way way overpriced!
Grillsd onions were not cooked. So disappointed
Please hire a few extra people and be open daily, like most every restaurants. I've come to eat countless times and you are closed half the time. A lot of lost revenue. 🤦🏽♂️
Half the time I plan to go eat here, they're closed. Today is another time....and counting. Can't keep it at 5 Stars, as a result.
Great cinnamon chips. Veggie Taco with corn mix had good flavor too. Worth trying!

I have been going here 2 times a week since this place has opened. They are a friendly, family owned business. But I will no longer go here.
When this place first opened, all the meats were fresh and delicious, they now serve old dry meat. It's very annoying that never know what your going to get, very inconsistent with who makes your burrito. The young hired staff almost always makes you a low grade, small portion, crappy burrito, you have to be lucky enough to get an owner to make it.
They have gotten way too cheap with with their guacamole and pico di gallo, which makes me the most mad!!! I love fresh guac and pico in my burrito's. For the first year they were open, guac was free and they gave you a nice big spoonful, now you have to to pay $2 extra for guac and it 1/5th the portion they used to give you for free.
What a shame, they took a good concept and ruined it by being cheap and literally charging you $2 for less than a Tablespoon of guac and you can't even taste it in the burrito because it's such a tiny portion. You guys suck! If you change your ways, and treat customer with respect, I'll change my review.
Scrumdiddlyumptious! Amazing burritos, that's all I have to say.
I had to be the 100th review (haha) so I’m finally gonna rave about this place. Their orange sauce is the best ever. You’ll be dropping that ummm girl Victoria you had, wondering what you EVER saw in her. Seriously, drunk or not, stop hitting that. Chispiro’s has amazing everything, but I’m partial to their breakfast burritos. They’re also really friendly people. It’s a spot I think about regularly and I don’t live in that area so the craving can really build. Heading there today.
Very friendly staff, fast service, and great tasting food
We both got burritos with veggie fajitas. Looked very tasty but seems like everything just lacked salt/flavor. also the highschoolers working there could use a bit more training.
