Churros El Guero have the best churros in the Bay Area! They are perfectly sweet and not too overwhelming. They are very decently priced at $2 per churro (depending on the filling) which is a steal. You can tell this place is the heart of San Jose by the customer service. Carlos (the owner) was super sweet and understanding; he provided us with 200 churros to feed our students no problem at all. We will definitely continue to support and patronize his business!

Fresh, piping hot! 4 for $10 was a good deal! They had 4 filling flavors, chocolate strawberry vanilla and caramel. Got 2 chocolate and 2 plain. I was a bigger fan of the unfilled one because I LOVE CARBS, the chocolate was superfluous. Thank god this spot isn't close to my house or I'd be a frequent flyer for sure. Make the trip for these!

I tried calling them to see if they were open since it said on Yelp they were open and no one answered. Then I drove 25 minutes because I thought they were busy that they couldn't pick up the phone but there wasn't their truck out here. What is the point of having a phone number to call if no one is going to pick up and if they're going to not be here certain days then they should change their hours open so that other people don't go through what I just did. Very annoyed

Highly recommend Churros El Guero!! Everyone at my wedding LOVED them and they had such a great attitude even though it was raining all night! The pricing was very reasonable and the churros were delicious!

The best churros I've ever had! This amazing family owned business turns out the most amazing churros you can imagine. I love how fresh they are, it reminds me of the churros I would find late at night in Mexico City. I find myself craving these churros and I have to come get one to satisfy the craving. Probably my favorite dessert spot in San Jose.

We had Churros instead of a wedding cake and it turned out perfectly. Carlos and his team were early to set up and stayed late so all of our guests could enjoyed their freshly made churros. Our guests loved all the flavor options available as well. Highly recommend if your having an event!
Need to call before you go, because we try to go to the location few time and there is no service. The churro is bit greasy on the side, but this is one of things that is once in awhile indulgent.

Quick and easy churro stop to satisfy a craving!The worker was so friendly and gave us an extra churro since it was our first time trying Churros El Guero. I loved both the vanilla and strawberry and already cant wait to go back.

Who doesn't love churros?We don't get out to this area of San Jose very often but we happened to be a few miles away for dinner and I had heard good things about this little mini food truck parked in front of a grocery store so we cruised on over. We chose one of each filled flavor - strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, caramel ... plus a plain regular churro. Since we were here, we figured we might as well try them all... you know.. for science. Fresh dough is dropped right in when you order and fried up nice and hot, then tossed with cinnamon sugar and filled with your choice of the flavors above or left plain as you wish. In a few minutes you have a paper bag full of churro treasures. Warm, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and SO SO good.The gentleman working the cart is quick with a joke and a smile and the churros are reasonably priced. My favorite was just the plain churro, with the chocolate and strawberry being second and third runner up. The caramel had a good flavor but was a bit too sweet for me and I didn't get much vanilla flavor from the vanilla filling so I would stick with the others next time. There's something for everyone though! Churros for all!
