went for a SF Beer week event. Why haven't I been here before? My fault, I'll be back.
Great selection of both standards and unique brews.
Friendly, knowledgeable bartender. Excellent selection of beers and games. Not the most endearing neighborhood, but the patio was private, welcoming, and quiet.
Good atmosphere, and Great beer!!
The Hazy is Amazing!!
I come here often, and it never disappoints. This is such a great place with friendly staff and an inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a little getaway with friends or even for a casual date. The highlight is the fantastic variety of drinks, which is always changing, keeping things fresh and exciting. The location also offers plenty of entertainment options, including board games, TVs for sports or shows, and lively trivia nights every Thursday. Whether you're here to try the latest drink creations or just to unwind, this place has it all. Definitely a top recommendation!
We had a great experience here. It's not really a bar but a tasting room. Probably should go on the weekend as they expect visitors then rather than mid week. It was so nice they accommodated and had beer tasting and a tour of the brewery process. Excellent beers on tap to taste. Probably best to call ahead. $12 per person and well worth it.
Atmospheric brewery with a good vibe and selection of craft beers on tap. Got two hazy IPAs and enjoyed hanging out with other visitors. Kids and god friendly place with lots of board games available.
Although Clandestine has been around quite a few years, surviving through covid where other local breweries have not, this was my first time here. Will note the daytime hours are limited most non-weekend days, which kept me away since I'm not from the neighborhood. The IPAs I had, a clean west coast single followed by a sledgehammer triple (which advised me to hand the car keys off to my companion), were both among the best I've had of any SJ brewery. Our server Kaylee was knowledgable and engaging. No food but great small space, will be back soon.
Top notch brewery with a great selection of beer and excellent service right in the heart of San Jose. Highly recommended.
Is it just me or do the beers here always taste gross. Why do they all taste like fruit or oatmeal. I got a hard seltzer last night, and I swear there were subtle notes of rotten eggs. The place is otherwise cool, but the drinks on tap are not worth my $9

Very nice place and friendly staff. The beer is amazing. They definitely know how to brew. It's a small place and very clean. If you are a beer snob, definitely go here. You won't be disappointed!
Stephen was five stars. Excellent host amazing. Enjoy the stay drinking at the spot was delightful. He made me feel appreciated along with my whole whole group as well. Introduce us to multiple ideas that I never thought I could try. I really like the white peach and the cutout V3.
Excellent craft Belgian beers which are very hard to find!
Great ambience and pet friendly! Well, at least dog friendly. They have a nice selection of drinks.
Great folks pouring beer over here.
