Update / correction: disregard my comment about size of drink , young lady handed us the wrong size glass / cup.
Staff was pleasant, nothing special, food was good but very pricey for the portions size, ($2.19 for a small and I do mean small fountain drink, like a 4 - 5 ounce clear cup) especially considering there are probably 10 other chicken restaurants in the area. Not sure if we’ll be back? 🤷🏻♂️

Really bad experience we lined up to get chicken but was told promotion ends at 9pm. Who make the promotion? The manger lady simply glance at the line and think it’s too much and make her decision. Very bad management and rude staff
I went to Dave’s Hot Chicken today to redeem their promotion, but the staff told me it couldn’t be used after 9 PM. This rule was not mentioned anywhere on the coupon or in the promo details. I’m not sure if it was something they made up on the spot or a poorly communicated policy, but either way, it was a very disappointing experience.

Well it lunch time so we decided on chicken and this was the middle place for our meet up.
The chicken was cooked to perfection, not over, just juicy enough to not be raw but still very tender. The seasonings were also very good. They had actual packets of honey too!

Had a great experience visiting Dave’s Hot Chicken in San Jose! One of my friends recommended this place, and I’m really glad I tried it. The chicken was delicious, perfectly crispy, and packed with flavor — definitely on the spicier side, especially for those not used to strong spices. The burger and sandwich were amazing and worth trying at least once for the unique taste. If you’re looking for a new and flavorful food experience, this is the perfect spot to visit!”
