Located in the Washington neighborhood of San Jose, this hidden gem can be found in the Salomes Quick Stop Market. Delicia's Taqueria is a neighborhood favorite. On any give occasion, a line of patrons can quickly build, for a taste of great homemade Mexican food. Closed on Sundays and Mondays, Delicia's Taqueria offers a simple choice of entrie's of: Tacos Burritos Quesadillas Flautas Sopes Bistec Ranchero Menudo Aporreadillo Empanadas(on certain days) Choices are meat: Asada Pastor Chorizo Tripas Pollo asado During our visit, we order taco pastor, taco asada, empanadas asada, and a super burrito asada/tripas. First off, it was more food than anyone can imagine. The tacos were made with hand made flour tortillas, which is a rare find. The meat ratio was more than the average taqueria. Both of the asada and pastor had tons of flavors which brought me back to eating tacos in my neighbors backyard on a Sunday afternoon with the fam. The empanadas were insanely good. The crust was thin and the empanadas were super packed with meat and cheesy goodness. This definitely a great place for Mexican food so if your in the area and want a local flavor, give this place a try.

Wow, great food. Lives up to the name. A tiny little local Taqueria catering to the neighbors. Ordered he al pastor empanaditas. The came covered in lettuce and avocado. Fresh and wonderful. A friend had a chicken quesadilla, enough for two and the roasted chicken was superior.
