TASHA IS AMAZING — but the manager is a straight-up problem.
Tasha provided excellent service and deserves recognition. Unfortunately, the manager completely overshadowed her professionalism and turned this visit into a mess.
Here’s what happened:
He clearly added an extra item ($6.99) to our receipt. When we asked for a printed receipt, he gave us a hard time—likely because he knew the charge was incorrect (Receipt #1). After being confronted, he printed a second receipt (Receipt #2) with the extra item removed, then tried to claim the totals were the same by comparing the after-tax total of Receipt #2 to the before-tax total of Receipt #1. That’s basic math, and it’s flat-out wrong.
When I pointed this out, he handed me a $5 bill. I calmly corrected his math and explained—twice—that the amount was still incorrect. At that point, he snatched the $5 back and threw a $10 bill at me. Not only unprofessional, but incredibly rude.
This wasn’t a misunderstanding—it felt intentional, followed by dishonesty and disrespect when called out. Management seriously needs to address this behavior. One employee like this can absolutely ruin the reputation of an otherwise good business.
Tasha deserves better, and so do your customers.

The food and atmosphere were great, but the interactions I had with the staff truly elevated my experience. Marta was kind and hospitable during my visit to San Jose for the weekend. I joked about getting a free plushie from the claw game, and when I told her I didn’t win anything, she gave me a couple dollars off my order. I mentioned I was sad I couldn’t get something for my girlfriend, and she genuinely cared. That level of attention made my visit special — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Me And My Wife Came To This Denny Yesterday To Have Dinner And We Was Charge For Something We Did Not Order, We EAT THE SAMETHING EVERYTIME WE AT DENNYS, WE CONFRONT THE WORKER AND JUAT LEFT, I GUESS HE NEEDS IT MORE THEN US, THIS WAS SO WRONG, Also Customer Service WAS BAD, I’m SO MAD THAT IM NOT COMING BACK

I have zero complaints. The price was really good, the chicken was juicy and crispy, the chicken sandwich held together nicely and didn’t get juice or sauce everywhere. Just great execution. Service was awesome and friendly, highly recommend checking this place out!
