I was looking around for a new tamale place since something's my tried and true doesn't have the tamales I like. I visited Diana's one morning for breakfast. It was easy to find located in a small shopping center I was looking for the store however the truck was what was open. I ordered two pork tamales with creama and queso. Unfortunately one of my tamales wasn't cooked all the way through it was still grainy. When I told the server she said it was just the cheese and it's fine. I know the difference and the cheese crumbled on top was a bit too salty I'm used to the queso fresco I think it was the cosero cheese. The tamale that was cooked was good but I couldn't get past the very salty cheese I had to scrape off to enjoy. Overall it was ok, but not Essj's best tamales!

Came during supposedly opening hours but it was shut. Are they out of business?

Bummer. We arrived at 11:00 on a Thursday morning. They appeared to still be closed. There was a closed security gate inside the business. While getting ready to write this 'review', I see that they have a truck on McKee. Rats. We both missed out.

One star cause they just closed for good no explanation

Unfortunately this location had a kitchen accident and they are temporarily closed but before this incident I was able to place an order of 4 dozen tamales. From the second I called them and asked questions about placing an order to prices and operation hours. They were all pretty helpful and very informative. They have by far the best tamales I've ever bought anywhere!! I will be placing a new order for Christmas at their location on McKee and can't wait to try them again. So unfortunate that they had a tragedy with their Story location but check them out at their McKee road store. Y'all won't be disappointed!!

Took two bites of a pork tamale and did not dig into any meat, tanTan TAN.Where's the meat at?
