Good tea, helpful staff. Not a lot of seating, but clean and very friendly. Ideal for walking from campus.

When the famiLE travels together gets BOBA together. When in San Jose, you already know we will be going to our favorite spot Ding Tea in Downtown San Jose If you haven't been...why haven't you? They have the best mural representing the BAY So many of us which means a whole lotta drinks.

Ding Tea is a quick and easy boba spot if you are nearby and want something very no-frills, but still retaining some quality. They offer a variety of tea flavors and options. All the fruit teas are flavored through syrups and the milk teas by default use a non-dairy creamer. If you are vegan, be careful as non-dairy creamers are usually not fully vegan so be sure to order with a plant-based milk, which was available here.I ordered an Oolong Milk Tea with Oat Milk and Golden Boba ($7) and it was just what I wanted. The boba was soft and slightly different than the black pearls that I'm used to, but it was a good drink that scratched that itch.Service was very quick and they happily answered my questions before ordering.

Cute Boba place ! Seems to be new and has a pretty decor!Note - The tea doesn’t come with Boba. The boba is an add on ✨ Ordered the Top Fruit Green Tea with the normal sugar level and lychee jelly and I found it bitter ? I wouldn’t recommend it for people who are looking for Fruit Bobas ! Also tried the Taro Boba and we loved it ! It was perfect Do check it out ! ?

I came here all the time but unfortunately, the tea's quality has gotten down. I'm not sure if it's this location in particular, but recently has this metal-powder taste in the tea. It doesn't seem quite right. Tried both the Jasmine milk tea, and tasted it still in the yakult teas as well to make sure. Until then, I'll probably wait till the quality becomes a bit better with the teas. Love the workers there, they're fast and amazing to talk to. Just the tea itself has that metal lingering taste for some reason.

Amazing! My daughter dragged me in the front door, wrote post-its & got these amazing drinks!

I thought the teas here were basic. It is downtown and near campus so street parking can be difficult unless you park in the garage across the street. I ordered the passion fruit yakult, the passion fruit green tea, and the guava green tea. They use a crystal boba here that is chewy like the black ones except its clear. Overall I thought the drinks were okay, I've had similar tasting drinks at other boba places and they all tastes like tea with flavored syrup. Out of the three I got, I prefer the passion fruit green tea as it was refreshing on a hot day. Next time I'll try their milk teas.

I ordered the Assam Milk Tea with Red Bean and the Taro Milk Tea with Fresh Taro. The milk tea and red bean were good. The Taro Milk Tea was made from a powder, and it tasted like it, but the Fresh Taro improved it. The service was friendly, quick and responsive, and the ambiance was simple and clean.

The flavor here is on point.

A nice little boba shop in the SJ downtown. A lot of people are sharing their little doodles on the wall - some are as elaborated and meticulous as a seemingly intimidating but functioning labyrinth, adding a bit of fun while waiting. We got both milk tea and fruit tea. For the Hokkaido Oolong milk tea I got, the Oolong taste was strong but gracefully complemented by the milk - worth a try Waiting... here's the reason for taking one star off. The wait time was over 20 mins for 4 drinks on a very chill Wednesday afternoon, with only 3 other customers in the shop. I'd consider this an above average wait time. Wondering why people got time to create and share fancy doodles? This might be why... Overall would recommend this place and come back in the future

Ordered the apple green tea. Delicious and could actually taste the tea! Boba was a good texture. Would love to come by again.

My Brown Sugar Milk Tea was great. But the Pineapple Tea was too floral and my wife had to dump it.
