Came with friends to play pool, hangout and slowly get drinks. Bartender with gages ear piercings started making up rules on playing pool, saying that every single on of us in our group had to buy a drink to play. On the wall it clearly said one drink minimum to play. We had already bought a drink and we're planning on getting more but the bartender insisted we had to buy drinks. My friend didn't want to get an alcoholic drink and asked for a Sprite and the Bartender literally said no. At that point we had already put money into the pool table and were about to start playing. We finished the drink we had ordered, canceled any plans on getting drinks and asked the bartender for our money back for the pool table. He refused.. At that point it clearly wasn't about a rule with the pool table but us not being welcomed and the bartender wanting to take advantage of us with 6 dollar drinks each. He made it very easy to say I will never come back and it'll be even easier to tell people to stay away.

Went there to get drinks and play pool. The bartender from the moment we walked in said we ALL had to get drinks to play. But the sign said "ONE DRINK MINIMUM to play pool" but the bartender insisted saying one drink per person to play pool. One of my friends decided to get drink and the bartender with gages kept saying that all of us had to get drinks to play. Once we felt he was being aggressive with us, my friend requested his money back before the complete order, and the bartender refuse to give his money back. The bartender started cussing at us because not everyone bought drinks. As 6 South Bay locals, this is the last time we'll ever go there and spend our money. Thanks gage dude!

This place is disgusting. I walked in and was immediately felt with a musty odor and bad vibes. I thought I'd give it one more chance and play pool. After I put in the 2.00$ for pool, the bartender said I must buy a drink as well even after my friend just did. He was a white male wearing gages. He told me that I couldn't play here unless I bought an alcoholic drink. I asked if I could sip a sprite instead and told me to just get f*** out. The profanity was very unnecessary. I will never be giving business to this bar and urge anyone in San Jose to stay away. Overall, this bar is great place for creepy old men, overpriced pool, and bartenders with gages and anger management issues. Cinebar has pool down the street and we're very welcoming.

Bartender on Thursday's is very unreceptive, made paying customers leave because he didn't t recognize us, the white bartender with gages very rude. Will not be giving any more money to this establishment because Of him.

Great. At least 12 beers on tap and at least 6 selections of wine. Haven't had the chance to try out any of the food yet but they sound great.

Owner should get out of the bar business. Staff was great but like many of the other reviews not worth your time or money when the owner ruins it for them. Even the staff was apologizing for what a joke he is. Take your money elsewhere.

Get ready for a night out especially in this part of San Jose. On the outside, this bar might look a little plain Jane. But the people you'll meet inside are far from it. The bar is divided into two parts: first half is the actual bar and the second half contains your typical bar games like a pool table, brighter lighting & of course, the more out there people. Bartenders are nice, but will not continue the conversation with you. They're just there to make sure your libations are properly filled and you are satisfied. Music here is good too, you'll feel like you walked into the mid90s era of hip-hop.

The food was amazing. There was fast and courteous service. This place has a nice atmosphere. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I liked.
