Terrible service. We went to this restaurant last night (10/15/25) around 7:15pm. After sitting in. The waitress took our order, then the waitress brought out 2 beers first. Then took off. We waited for half an hour, nothing happen. We asked the waiter/waitress twice asking where is our orders, why it takes too long. They both said, they're coming. We waited again, 10 minutes passed, nothing happened. We saw other people walked in after us, they've already got their order, but us. So, we another waitress and asking the same questions and complaining why we caming before other group, why they've already got their order, but us still waiting ? She replied, because other group order soups and something not fried l. We order frying stuffs (snail, salty fish fried rice, combination vegetables cooked with tofu) that's why it takes longer. I was really upset, walked to the cashier paid for 2 beers and left the restaurant. I called the restaurant later and talking to the manager and complained what was happened. The owner simply said, there were 4 group cooking in the kitchen. Whatever they cooked first they bring out first. So if you ordered something that might take long time to cook, you will get yor order last regardless whether you sitting first or after others.

What kind of restaurant is it ??? They didn't serve by order (1st come 1st serve), but they just serve by the cooking times of foods. This is America and the way they served just like in a third poor country.

So do not come to this restaurant. Very poor service the price was so expensive with small portion (I saw it on the table next to me)

The seafood is fresh and moderately priced.

This place was so loud. I try to come here every time. I'm in town

Balut was really good. This is the first time I ate balut and the it had a lot of feathers 👀

Sturgeon soup is so good so are their snails.

I think one of my favorite things about this restaurant is the dipping sauce they give you. I would actually buy the green dipping sauce if they've sold it..

Parking lot kind of sucks you'll definitely get a door ding since the spots are so close together.

Our dinner experience was very disappointing. We ordered seven different dishes from the menu, one of which was fried pork stomach. A couple of us tried it and immediately had to spit it out; the taste and smell were horrible, like spoiled food.
We informed our server, who picked up the dish, smelled it, and claimed it was normal. He took the plate to the kitchen, only to return with another server who also smelled it in front of us, reiterating that it was normal. I offered to pay for the dish if they would eat a few bites in front of us, but they refused.
When we paid, the owner insisted their food was fine and charged us in full, showing no concern whatsoever. Their focus was solely on our money, with zero customer service. If we are getting sick from this food, do they even care that the health department is contacted??? The owner was very greedy, and the service was extremely unprofessional.

If you miss Vietnamese flavors and snail dishes, this is the restaurant I really recommend to you.

It is really, really to my taste. I was extremely impressed with the steamed clams with lemongrass, stir-fried snails with coconut, crispy fried chicken cartilage or crispy fried frog, and boiled pork with eggplant and shrimp paste or fish hotpot (I didn't take pictures of these two dishes but order them, they are delicious). There is one dish, pig intestines, which I don't like and it has a strong smell, but the rest of the dishes are great.

The staff is lovely, the restaurant is clean.

Super authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I loved seeing the wide range of demographic come through here. You got the aunties in here along with the younger crowd celebrating birthdays. So you know the food was going to be good seeing all the different age groups here.

The food was delicious. The things I would order again are the banana blossom chicken salad (favorite dish), canh chua, oysters and snails. The banana blossom salad was incredible. It was super light and came with an oniony taste to it. Loved it a lot. The oysters were also delicious. It reminded me of what I had in Danang.

I would pass on the chicken wings. They are kinda small and not worth the price. The shrimp was okay; once you get pass the shell, the inside was unseasoned.

Service was decent. It gets very packed and you have to call out to get their attention. Don’t be shy! They are hustling hard and you gotta use your voice or hand gestures to get what you need !

Very bad experience. Will never recommend to anyone. Ordered a few dishes on Christmas Day. Two of the food were in very bad quality, which included squid and quail. The quails were not fresh and the meat of the quails was scorched and too tight to eat. The squid was like a plastic, which was very difficult to consume. Called the restaurant a few times until got a response from the manager. The manager was a bit rude, who shouted and did not apologize or deal with the situation well. Felt so disappointed. Would consider filing a complaint to the Department of Health as it is totally against the law for the restaurant to ignore the customer’s request!

I had an absolutely horrible experience at Dong Que Restaurant. I ordered the fish, and it gave me a severe case of E. coli, leaving me violently ill for days. This was one of the worst food poisoning incidents I’ve ever experienced, and it was clearly due to the restaurant's negligence in food safety and preparation.

Eating here was a massive mistake, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. It’s shocking and unacceptable that a restaurant could allow something this serious to happen. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to gamble with your health.

I got the grilled scallops with fish eggs and escargot salad for $48+, all for myself. How can I justify that? Honestly, I don’t need to; I just wanted it.
