I love dumplings and this place definitely didn't disappoint. Seems like they're sometimes out of stock on certain items, but prices are surprisingly affordable.

This place was good last year but this time when we went they didn't have any of their pan fried dumplings, only steamed , so that takes away about half of what we usually get

dough zone is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. i was glad to have it this time around because it was gonna be my girlfriend's first time eating here and she had an amazing experience. i got dan dan noodles, green onion pancakes, and chicken potstickers. you can just tell the food is made fresh here. food was so crispy and steamy hot. the wait wasn't even that long for the food and all the servers were so kind. we were the first people in the restaurant for quite some time and soon more people came in and it just became full by the time we paid for our food laughing emoji.

this was my first time trying dough zone ever and it was amazing. my favorite item was the fried wontons with sweet and spicy garlic sauce. i also liked how you write the amount of stuff you want of each item on the paper so you don't have to try and figure out what you want and rush like other restaurants. i need more dough zone locations in california because i can't get this that often and its sooo delicious.

It's nice to have a xiao long bao place in the area, and their XLB and crab XLB are just fine! I appreciate that it's not super busy. And they offer the convenience of phone ordering via QR code ordering by paper slip.

I’m really disappointed with my recent order. The meat looked very poor in quality, and overall it felt cheap and unappetizing. I’m not satisfied at all, and I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again. The quality has fallen far below expectations.

disappointment
They do a good job with the cucumber (spicy) and kale salad (sesame dressing.) The dressing is just right for me, light and pleasant. Sliced beef shank was good as well. A bit in the salty side, though
Servers are quick and attentive. We didn't have to wait to get a table

From one of the best casual Chinese dumpling restaurants it turned into something very strange. While pork Xiao Long Bao was still okay (worse than before) the chicken one was almost inedible - either too much blood in the chicken soup or it was cooked wrong otherwise. Black bean noodles were overcooked and lacking sauce. Cucumber is still good (difficult to screw that one up), and beef pancake is good as well.
There is no Chinese restaurant vibe, because I haven't noticed many Chinese staff, even in the kitchen, not sure if they can keep up with authentic Chinese cuisine.
Next time I will probably choose some other restaurant, so sad to give up on my favorite chain.

not a big fan. i felt my dignity and soul get sucked out of my weak feeble body with every bite, hoping it would get better. i would rather have instant noodles while taking an evil calculus exam. the food was pretty cheap but still not worth the price. all the dumplings seemed like they were thawed from being frozen and were too dry like it wasn't properly steamed. the noodles were awful—the noodles were overcooked and square and the broth did not taste like it fit the cuisine. the chili oil was very weak and the soy sauce was very salty. the staff was also quite clumsy and inattentive, like they were trying to get us out. not sure if i can recommend it here and i am typically easy to please

This place was really disappointing. Beef stew noodles: just terrible, I was positively starving when I visited and even that wasn’t enough to make it at least decent. The potstickers, xiao long bao, and onion pancake are all clearly frozen, you could easily make a better meal for cheaper if you just take a jaunt down to the freezer aisle at Ranch 99 just across the street. There are so many better places to get Chinese food in the Bay, please don’t go here.
