Excellent meal and service. The filet stroganoff was delicious, and my husband's steak was cooked perfectly. Brought us a free dessert for our Anniversary.
Had a lovely birthday dinner for my fiancé . Food was delicious and wait staff was very attentive made us feel like we have been a hundred times . Will be returning for another great meal. Very fun time
Nice decor, for those that want to keep up with sports, this is a good place with lots of TV screens. Good variety food selections, cocktails, and wine. Deviled eggs was good, lamb chop, ravioli, roasted beets salad and onion soup were all good. Our server Adriana was very friendly and helpful. Our second time here, the food and service are always good. The only downside this time ISVs the noise level, too much dishes clinging and sound from the kitchen, made it hard to hear our own conversation.
We had a party of four. Pork chop, New York steak, and two lamb chops. I've had lamb chops many times where ever I go. These were the best marinated and cooked lamb chops ever! Also the string beans appetizer was a hit. All the food was great. The server was new and not very helpful. The steak knives arrived when our chops, steaks, and pork were just about finished which made it difficult to eat. She did not know the menu either when we asked questions. Still a great experience.
Food was great, service was solid, great to see Dry Creek finally making a come-back after Covid. The music was a bit loud in the back dining room...i prefer the front dining room, so will request that in future reservations.
Great experience, but the music was really loud. With the construction going on the speakers were vibrating and needed to be turned down.
The staff really took care of us - three birthday ladies (including my wife). When my friend had difficulty with her dish, the staff replaced it expertly and without incident. The kids ate super well, too!
Great meals, consistently. Good waitstaff, nice ambience.
I took my children here the first time. All were all having delicious steak (with excellent sauce). The 2nd time I took my girl friend here with a hugh disappointment. I ordered the same steak (ribeye with sauce). The waiter brought me the steak that came from microwave instead of grill. So I asked why? His response was that he didn't want me to wait long so that why we serve your steak that came from microwave. I never want to eat steak here again because when it comes with steak, I am very particular, it has to cook right and the wines go a long with it.
Still a Classic — But Time to Step It Up a Notch
We had a lovely, low-key birthday dinner at Dry Creek Grill—just three of us, and it hit the spot. Service from Collin was excellent—friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable.
Two of us started with a Caesar salad and corn chowder (which we ended up taking home—too good to leave behind). Our mains were a juicy burger, a flaky swordfish, and a 12oz ribeye cooked perfectly medium-rare. The ribeye? Gone. No leftovers. That good. The lemon tart with berries closed the meal on a bright, refreshing note.
You will bring cash or a debit card—there’s now a 2.5% surcharge for credit cards.
Dry Creek Grill still delivers great food and warm vibes, but with Blossom and Bourbon now open nearby and trending upward in ratings, it’s time for Dry Creek to tighten things up and keep their edge.
Still, it’s a San Jose staple for a reason—and we left full, happy, and with a to-go bag that kept the celebration going the next day.

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner date at Dry Creek Grill. We got seated right away at our reservation time. We were given water and bread right away but we didn't have a server and no one came to check on us for awhile. I'm assuming a woman who was the manager eventually came by to ask if anyone had helped us to which we said no. She ended up taking our drink and appetizer order, and she explained there was some confusion about who was waiting our table. Not sure if it ever got figured out but someone did come to take our order. Food was delicious as always. Service could have improved. Won't stop me from coming back though.
Food was excellent but service was below par. Felt rushed in the beginning. Server seemed new and inexperienced and never checked back with us after main courses were delivered until time for dessert. Not our best experience .
Great area for reasonable fine dining. I suggest going at a reasonable time so you don't have to wait, otherwise I suggest making reservations.
When comfort food is calling for you, this might be the place. The menu seemed to have something for everyone. Great outdoor fire pits offer a phenomenal spot to wait for your table. Reservations are highly encouraged as this place can get crowded, but if you can wait until after the usual rush hours you might be better off. I showed up without a reservation a little after 8pm and there was plenty of room. The bar looked impressive and I had a phenomenal cocktail (The Firecracker) while my companion had a half-bottle of Chardonnay (yes, they offer this on their wine menu). The food was great and prices were reasonable. Will definitely come back again. One thing I would say is that a certain support server could benefit from training as he interrupted our discussion with our main server to deliver our appetizers while we were sorting out our wine selection. It was both comical and awkward at the same time.
Very nice restaurant with a great attentive staff. They did a great job making our visit a memorable experience.
