Felt like I was in an 80s movie. Standard banquet hall type place but in need of some major redecorating to update to current times. Very dark, no windows to let in any light. Food was average. Pretty much what you would expect. All the standard banquet/buffet type dishes. A little creativity never hurt anybody. They should have more fun with their menu and not be afraid to think out of the 80s box. The lemonade they provided was amazing as well as the dessert.

Their food is simply the best the Chef is an actual trained Chef. I was able to talk with him for a minute just to tell him how much I enjoyed the food it was very good his name is All. very very 👍😊

Hidden gem! Absolutely beautiful steaks, perfect crisp and chew balance. Everything was beyond delicious. The bread was amazingly soft with a crispy shell (not hard), and the croutons were awesome too! Chocolate cake was delicious. I want to swear a lot, really, that's how good it all was.

The Drying Shed is a neighborhood classic but it has been YEARS since I've had dinner there. What a great surprise. Yes it is a steak and seafood place but I was able to find many vegetarian options. Great quality food and amazing service (thanks Ed). It definitely has an old school food vibe to it -- in a good way. Crunchy toasted garlic bread, amazing (homemade?) croutons in the salad, great homemade slaw, and so on. Would have preferred not to have the TV's on while dining, but admittedly we were there early, so maybe that isn't the standard dining experience there. Overall a great dinner.

Had the best clam chowder I could even imagine. The prime rib here is better than the House of Prime Rib. The waiter was proud as can be of everything to do with this restaurant and it showed. You don't see this kind of pride in workmanship everyday and know this was not a paid endorsement. The clam chowder was so good I ordered some to go and their croutons for the salad to go with it, wow!

First of All I would like to Say I Have Been to the Drying Shed Several Times and the Service & Food Were Great, I Made RSVP for Thanksgiving Dinner For 15 People at 1:30, We didn’t get Seated till after 2pm. After waiting Our Waitress took our Order for Drinks instead of Asking what we wanted She Told us they had Wine and Soft Drinks, They she asked us to Raise our hands if we wanted Wine or Soda (I felt like a Kid) So Finally our Drinks Arrive and Our Drinks were in Plastic Cups (No Dishwasher) She Finally comes Back takes our Order Raise Your Hands for Prime Rib Or Turkey, waiting for her come Back to get Refills on Our Drinks, Finally our Food Arrives all but 3 Pieces of Prime Rib were Over Cooked, My Turkey Dinner had about 4 Small Pieces of Turkey And Finally We Never Received any Rolls with Our Dinner. I don’t recall our Waitress coming back to our Table until it was Was Time For Dessert & Coffee, They Bring out Pumpkin Pie on Paper Plates ☹️ and 2 Cups of Coffee and she be Right back with More Coffee when I Looked Over to another Table she was Serving them Coffee, Coffee finally Arrives Cold, By then am Not to Happy about the Whole Evening. I Just wanted to Pay and Leave, I Honestly can Say I will Not Return for Thanksgiving Dinner Again or Recommend The Drying Shed

Dine here at Thanksgiving. I might reconsider going back here because the manager almost helped us. The servers are just standing and don’t know what to do. We waited for an hour just to be served.

The turkey special is ok. Not really exceptional to me. I rather have steak.

Parking: I had a 15-ounce ribeye steak cooked to perfection. Karaoke night with Carla Ré West. Another Thursday fun night of singing, laughter, and just plain fun. Met friends there and left making new additional friends! Thank you Carla!

I’ve been hosting events at the Shed for over 35 years and it was 5 stars back then and still remains the same today. Food portions, taste and preparation are outstanding. Filet Mignon hamburger is to die for and by far best in town. The ambiance is very quaint, cozy and inviting. Denise, Ed and Al treat you like family. An exceptional place to visit if you really want a quiet evening filled with great food and good service. F. Carrillo
