Sorry for not giving 5 stars but I think the bread they sell is a bit expensive, it's very good but they should work on the prices.

Chocolate donuts are the best here. They run out asap. I shouldn't be sharing this because now there will probably be no more donuts available.Parking: Parking is easyKid-friendliness: Place looks ok for kids.

This is the best panaderia is San Jose hands down. The service and staff here are amazing! The owner is the sweetest person ever and has been in the food business for decades. The bread and breakfast burritos are great! If you’re in the area, give this place a try!

This Oaxacan-stye bakery serves up sweet breads and memelitas in an old Victorian house that has been repurposed and given new life. When you find this house of delight in old San Jose (2nd Street & Virginia St.) you'll feel as if you stumbled on a hidden lil gem.So far everything I have tried here is authentically delicious. They have cute porch and patio seating but no indoor seating which is good because if they did, all the Karens within a five mile radius would flock here trying to get a slice of Oaxaca. The Oaxaqan hot chocolate is a must try item especially if the weather is cloudy and cold.

Terrible Experience.....Last week I bought several pieces of breads and a cake from the promotion in my company cafeteria. When I tried the cake later, I found a small plastic figure in the bread. I wrote the complaint here about it but deleted it immediately. My wife asked me to throw away the remainder but I ate it this morning and I bit another one. Now I have a good collection of it. I cannot understand why they are in the cake.
Don't buy bread there, much less bagels; On January 5th I went to buy a king's donut and when I got home and broke it, it was as hard as if it had been in the box for a week, and it is also very expensive, for a small donut they charged me $23 dls. I paid for them thinking it was worth it, but no, and I couldn't go and return it because I live about 30 minutes away. From there ?

Very fresh and clean. However, to anyone used to European style bakery, this is pretty far from those yummy cakes and pastries you can buy elsewhere.

Ordered bolios and conchas along with dinner. Had tortas de tesajo and milanesa de res. The tesajo was just divine! Recommend. Also had a tamal verde con pollo with all toppings and a tamal de hoja de plátano sabor mole. Tamales had a lot of meat and the masa was very delicious. Recommend this place to anyone looking for tasty Oaxacan food.
