This is as authentic as it gets. Don't expect crisp kind service and extra napkins or to go containers that you can fit all of your food in when it's time to go, but do expect delicious food well seasoned and prepared and delivered to the table quickly. My last time here, I had the dim sum, and it was great as usual. The little plates piled up, one more delicious than the next. Our table also ordered the short ribs, which are my favorite, Chinese broccoli and fried rice. The restaurant is pretty old and inside the tables are rickety and sticky and I'm definitely sure they could upgrade their decor and seating but the food is so good that I look beyond that and just appreciate the meal. I've been coming here for years, and I don't recall one bad experience.

Came here on a sunday morning around lunch time! They serve dimsum all the way until late lunch or when they close to prepare for dinner time. There were alot of tables and seats so we didn't have to wait in line at all! They do charge for tea fyi! They still do dimsum where the ladies cart around and you can point at what you want to get. We got our regulars: su mai, banh bao, chicken feet, hac cau, and the shrimp rice roll. Everything came out very quickly, the only one that took a while was the chicken feet (which is normal at every dimsum restaurant). My favorites were the chicken feet and the shrimp rice roll. They were packed with flavor and the rice roll texture was just right! Keep in mind the chicken feet was bomb but it was suppper spicy. The hau cau was a bit thick and the sui mai was ok. Nothing spectacular. Dimsum is solid if youre looking for a local spot and don't want to drive or wait in line for like SiFu Wong!

Came here on a Sunday around lunch time and was seated right away. The inside of the restaurant looks pretty basic, although a little outdated it was still clean. This the style of dim sum where they push around little carts and you pick out the dishes you want to eat. 1. Har gow - 6/10. I found the skin of this to be slightly too overcooked because it lost it's mochi stretchy texture. This one crumbled apart which knocked it down a few points for me. The filling was pretty standard, I may have gotten an old one that had been sitting out for a while. Not amazing, but also not bad. 2. Siu mai - 8/10. Also a pretty standard siu mai. Nothing wrong with it 3. Chicken feet - 9/10. This was full of flavor and unexpectedly very spicy!! It was a nice change to some other chicken feets that I've had 4. BBQ porn bun - 8/10. Pretty standard pork bun, I wish it were a bit larger but it was still solid 5. Shrimp rice roll - 10/10. Absolute best dish of our meal, in fact I would say this is one of the best shrimp rolls I've had in the bay. Must must get if you are here for dim sum! Overall this was a solid meal and the price was decent. I'd come here again if I ever wanted some quick no frills dim sum

There was not an appearling place to eat. There was bugs and tiny fruit flies. I have to give them 1 other star for the food taste...

While it may not offer the most exceptional Chinese cuisine, this place certainly hits the spot. Having been local residents in the area, we were once frequent visitors. It had been a while since we last tried the dim sum here, but upon returning, we were pleasantly surprised by the new ownership. The service provided by the friendly gentleman, whom we presume to be the owner, surpassed our previous experiences. Our must-have dishes include the honey walnut prawns, salt and pepper crab, shrimp fried rice, and Peking spare ribs. This establishment has potential, and I hope that the community will continue to support it.

Having grown up in California as a first generation Chinese American, I have a soft spot for Cantonese Chinese food and, specifically, dim sum. And this small-ish local Cantonese Chinese restaurant serves up the authentic-ish faire at a reasonable price. Their service is fine! Especially if you consider what used to pass as service at these kinds of restaurants. So go with the appropriate expectations, and you'll be fine. I suspect that if the restaurant were bigger and *looked* higher end, the food might seemingly taste better. But when I don't feel like the hassle of venturing out further to get my Chinese food fill, I bring the family here!

Every time my parents visit, they always want to go to try Dim Sum. I was getting tired of going to Dynasty every time as that is the nearest one with cart served Dim Sum and I just not a big fan of driving around Viet town or Story Road on the weekend. I looked on Yelp to find this restaurant that was roughly the same driving distance as Dynasty and in a "quieter" side of town. The plaza this is in is a neighborhood Plaza with plenty of parking space. I don't imagine this place ever gets so busy that there's no parking space. The restaurant upon entering is very spacious. We were seated nearly immediately and it doesn't seem to get all that busy. Once we were seated, those pushing the dim sum cart that were seemingly were on standby walked passed our table one-by-one. Overall, the food was comparable to Dynasty (as a baseline). I would say they were more stuffed than Dynasty. For example, the Ha gow at Dynasty and other dim sum places would be about 60-70% of what was served here. My main gripe with the dish would be how long it seemed some of the dishes were left out on the cart while waiting for customers to show up. A few of the dishes we got seemed to have been left out for a while as the wraps of some of the dishes seemed dry. Overall, the price is comparable to Dynasty with the added benefit of getting more value for what you paid and to avoid the busier side of town.

IG: cv.foodies CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS WAS ADVERTISED FOR ONE PERSON FOR LIKE ~$15??? ** A few dishes were a bit too salty/sour for my liking but great price for the amount of food Individual Dinner * Comes with Sweet & Sour Pork, 1 Egg Roll, Soup of the Day, Almond Chicken and Pork Fried Rice! All this for one person omg the portions were literally insane for the price and I'm still in disbelief Everything was really good but the only downside was that the pork was a bit too sour for me! Really recommend getting this!

I used to frequent this place on weekends, but haven't visited in over a decade. Management has changed a lot, though they did renovate the inside of the restaurant. We ordered the Singapore rice noodles, Kung pao chicken, and salt and pepper spare ribs. Prices have increased at all restaurants, but they did give pretty generous portions. The salt and pepper spare ribs were one of the better ones I've had. We considered ordering the Peking duck as well, but the staff was very honest and shared that it wasn't the freshest today, so we decided on the other dishes.

Very salty, very little meat served I could not find meat in the sweet and sour pork. Mongolian beef was served with the biggest pile of onions with the littlest meat. The tea tasted like hot dirty tap water. Every thing we ordered was made very cheaply. Very disappointed.

I've been visiting this establishment for over 20 years. Although it's changed ownership a few times, the new owners have updated the interior a lot! The place looks and feels very open and clean. It's solid chinese food whether you are dining for a family meal at dinner or dim sum over the weekend. I have not had a dish that was not good. Some of my favorites are still the fish filet with fresh veggies and the clams in black bean sauce. Family favorites are still peking spare ribs, seafood clay pot and beef chow fun.
