The food quality has been decreasing. The “guac” now just tastes like zucchini. The asada is still good.

El Bombero is a great spot in San Jose – the food is delicious, the atmosphere is fun and lively, and the service is friendly and attentive. Everything came out fresh and flavorful, and the team working there really makes you feel welcome.

This is a great bang for buck taco that comes from a truck ran by smiling people. That’s how I know the food is quality and trustworthy when everybody’s having a great time while hard at work. I can always rely on the quality and consistency here. The wait might be long but that’s cause they’re busy!

Was almost shocked at how flavorless this place was considering how many people I've seen go here. It's almost hard to find mexican food this bad in San Jose. Pastor on the tacos were dry and didn't seem to be freshly cut from the trompo, carne asada burrito had an odd smoky taste and there was nothing super about the super burrito I got; no sour cream, cheese, guacamole...the things you pay a little extra for in a typical super burrito
