Food was fine. Bathrooms were locked (code) and there were no napkins to be had anywhere. Place was reasonably clean with quick service.

Today I went to the drive thru, and the skinny guy was super nice to me. I asked for 2 extra sauces and he gave me extras. I really appreciate that. I'll be back soon!

After putting in a mobile order using the El Pollo Loco app.. like I do for every other El Pollo Loco location.. I go through the drive-thru.. am asked to wait.. that wait turns into 5 minutes.. Ok.. they’re probably busy.. meanwhile.. I had put in that order 10 minutes ago. I’m told my order isn’t ready yet. No problem. I pull around & am told I have to go inside to pick it up because it’s not ready yet. There was no one behind me in the drive-thru that you could rationalize why I’m being asked to leave the drive-thru. When I point that out.. I’m told that their timer is going. So.. in other words.. they’ll look bad for having someone wait too long & the solution is to inconvenience me even more.. after I’m being patient for not having my order ready on time?
Tal vez si hubiera hablado en Español hubiera recibido el servicio mejor.. pero como me paresco guero.. piensan que esta bien hacer las cosas mal

I made the mistake of thinking all Pollo Loco's are the same (fast food chain mentality). They're NOT! The best PL is on the corner of White and Story, no question. The people working in the kitchen run a tight ship and everything is cooked and made to perfection 👌 I go through the drive-thru so I can't really speak to the restaurant dine-in atmosphere, but the drive-through staff are great.
