The staff was friendly and professional. The atmosphere was nice, music was playing, which made it nicer.

It was yuck
I’m a big El Pollo Loco fan but was disappointed with this location.
The items I wanted (that I always get in Sunnyvale) were not available here. The cashier didn’t seem very sympathetic. Also the prices seemed to have gone up considerably.
At least the food tasted good.

They just we not too nice.
I get it when people make mistakes, they were not busy, so I didn't get another customer's order, they only got 1/2 the order right. For 3 people, nothing hard. And it was not their best night for cooking.

I stopped to this Pollo Loco and I figured out that they over the price, this is no fair. The food is not good as the others and we have to pay a lot more.
This Pollo Loco is over price if you compare to another stores, this is ridiculous, the product is the same!
This location is our most frequented one.
It is usually busy when we arrive. It does take them a few minutes to get to us when we pick up a phone order. They are usually frantically trying to figure out whose order is, who's in the pickup area.
The food is always good and tasteful. The size of the burritos have remained the same.
But the tostada salads have shrunk by at least 25% over the past year or more. I am not sure what is leading to this, but it is a little disappointing. More disappointing is recently, some of the orders have been incorrect when we get them home. Normally, it doesn't bother me. However, we have someone who is lactose intolerant in the family. When we order things without cheese, sometimes cheese is on them. Sometimes everybody's order is missing cheese, so it boils down to a lack of attention to detail. When assembling the food

You have to be stupid to order food here. Insanely over priced bland unflavored fast food. 30 dollars for a salad and 2 tacos.... the greed is pouring outta here

I went to El Pollo Loco today for the first time in quite a while.
The staff is always very nice.
I find their menu difficult to read and to decide quickly what to order. It all kind of looks the same, some of the items aren't even on the board that I could find (BRC Burrito). It's just kind of whitewashed and not categorized logically.
I was disappointed to see the salsa bar is still not back since pre-rona. To me, that was one of the bonuses.
I ordered the Citrus Salad for $15. It was very lackluster and had no flavor. You get what is equal to a basic bag of salad with a few shredded carrots/cabbage, 1/4 of an avocado that wasn't flavorful at all, 1tsp of cojita, and what probably equals 1 chicken breast (maybe). The lettuce wasn't wilted but there was no flavor. Nothing stood out. The citrus vinaigrette is ok but I had to spice things up with some roja sauce.
I felt like I was just putting ingredients in my belly. No enjoyment at all. It needs beans, onions, something to give it depth and make the cost worth it.
I will still return as I am a fan of El Pollo but this salad was definitely one and done. I got so tired of eating plain lettuce that I just ate the chicken and the avocado (of the small amount there was). 😔

This place does not include drinks in the combo and for a small drink the cost increases up to 7 dollars more
Food is good. However the lady at the register nearly charged me for twice of what I was ordering and the bald guy was super rude to me and the other workers.
