Elma's taqueria is hidden away in a Fresco's supermarket next to Eastridge mall. I didn't expect much from the little cornerstore of the supermarket, but here I am years later still frequenting the spot biweekly for an order of their al pastor tacos. I've been all around and I have yet to find al pastor that's on par with Elma's. Perfectly marinated, grilled, and packed with flavor, this is the only taco I don't even need sauce with. If you do want sauce though, they have a very unique spicy habanero orange sauce that pairs well with their tacos. It's creamy at looks light at first glance, but it is definitely one of the spicier sauces I've had from a mexican restaurant. They are very generous with the portions and their 4 taco combo deal is wayyy cheaper than most places considering the amount. The employees have always been accomodating and always made sure I had the best ordering experience despite minor language barriers. They've even given free fruit juice or horchata on occasion with my order. Definitely a local business worth supporting if you're looking for some fast service and takeout.

My absolute favorite place to pickup super nachos!!! I usually order super nachos, Al pastor meat (extra meats), it's bomb! The BEST! Birria pizza is very good too!!! Super burrito without beans are just as delicious!!!! Kids love their chicken quesadillas. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!! It's definitely my go to spot for Mexican craving! You won't disappoint

We lost a member of my family. We used Elmas catering for the services. They did Everything! They even set up a coffee ☕ bar with pan dulce. They had excellent food and service! Thank you for such great service!

I tried this place for the first time yesterday and ordered al pastor tacos through GrubHub. I was very pleasantly surprised. They were delicious! The salsas don't have any heat but they have good flavor. They are not stingy with the meat AT ALL. Great balue for the low price of the tacos. My only gripes are that the tacos were on the greasy side and thr onion and cilantro are served on the side. But I will definitely continue to order tacos from here.

Located inside the Fresco supermarket, the parking is easy and the location is convenient. The food was good, service wasn't outstanding but they were pleasant enough. The reason for the 2 stars is I found a pebble in my burrito bowl. Thankful I didn't chip a tooth. Be careful when you eat here.

Had a chance to try Elma's Taqueria which is located inside Frescos, near the Eastridge Mall. This place is pretty close to me so I decided to try it out. I ended up getting the set of 4 birria tacos which came with consome as well as salsas, onions, cilantro and lime. I asked for 2 goat and 2 beef ones which was awesome because more to try! The Goat birria tacos were not bad but a bit gamey to me. The broth was fresh and flavorful. The beef ones were delicious and enjoyed every bite. These tacos are definitely very on the heavy side, so I would definitely try to share with someone if you can't take too much. Overall, though yummy and very flavorful!
