It's been several years since I've been to a Firehouse subs, and boy has it fallin' off. The sandwich was edible but didn't taste good. It had barely any meat, and I'm pretty sure supermarket turkey isn't expensive. Speaking of expensive. It cost over $20 for a pretty small sandwich, small drink, and a bag of chips. The bag had only one ounce of chips!? This place used to have so much charm, and now it's basically an inferior subway. They even got rid of the plethora of hot sauces from all around. Now, the only unique sauce doesn't even have real sugar and has high fructose instead. I won't ever be back.

I have been to this place 3 times and all 3 times they messed up my order. Their packaging is always leaking sauces outside the bag and they never put my premium add on ingredients despite paying too many $. Never going back to this place. Seriously needs some adult supervision at this place

This place is so good. I never thought I would eat at Firehouse Subs. Went shopping at Safeway and was really hungry. I decided to try it out, and I can't believe all this time I have been missing out!!! These subs are so delicious. My favorite is the Spicy Cajun Chicken sub and the Jamaican Jerk Turkey. The chili beans, the Mac n cheese, and the chicken noodle and loaded potato are sooooo good. The seating area isn't too big, but each time I have been there, not many people come to dine in. So that's a plus. If you are looking for a good sub place with a nice quiet place to sit, then this Firehouse Sub is the place you need to try. The people are nice too and there's parking as well. And a customer only bathroom, which is always clean.
Parking: There are about 10 parking spots near the Firehouse Subs. But it's in the parking lot of other stores so there is plenty of parking.
Kid-friendliness: There are high chairs, and if you get the kids' menu option, you are able to get a plastic fireman's hat.
Wheelchair accessibility: There's a wheelchair ramp to get up. There's plenty of space to move around a wheelchair inside the shop.
Nothing on the menu is actually spicy. My partner loves the meatball sub. The Italian, and the pastrami are lack luster and boring. The staff are amazingly accommodating and knowledgeable.

Found this place on yelp. Not Many reviews but enough positive review for me to try this place. Employees were very nice and helpful. I got the cheese steak sandwich and it was a good size sandwich. It wasn’t small or too big. Just the right size. All the ingredients were fresh and the bread was so super soft. The drink had plenty of carbonation. Bathroom was super clean which tells me the kitchen is clean also. The whole experience was so peaceful and flawless. Highly recommend this place.

Don’t waste your time getting a small sub it’s literally smaller than a pen. At best maybe 3 inches for 8.99. They also don’t mention size of the sub on their website, I wonder why?

I'm honestly so happy that they opened a location in East Side San Jose! I used to go to the one in Fremont, CA because it was close to my job at the time. And when I found out that they opened this location, I was ecstatic! The food here is delicious and the service is pretty good and quick. There's ample parking outside and ample seating inside. This location keeps their store very clean. Will definitely be coming here more. :)
They sell mostly the same as your usual sandwich store but but if your a fan of meatball subs this place is fantastic.Is the best meatball sub I had in ages, they have many various styles too.

The staff that works here go above and beyond, making everyone's experience better each visit. The sandwiches are absolutely outstanding and packed with flavor.
