It's a local staple! Service is always attentive. The restaurant is old fashioned and has this total 'flair' going on with decor - big displays of fake tropical flowers. I like it! Typical diner type menu. I can't give the food 5 stars because there are other places that do brunch food better. BUT... this place is always quiet and readily available seating for a weekday brunch! I was surprised to see a Flames Coffee Shop when I was on the back road to Morgan Hill. I remembered the great breakfast the old chain provided. Alas this last remaining Flames is a flicker of the past.

The menu has completely changed. While the food is adequate, it is just not the same as I remember. My old standby breakfast of a Spanish Omelette with a side of sausage is no longer on the menu.

I appreciate that a Flames restaurant is still...
