We got chocolate hazelnut cake from here and was terrible. It was super sweet and dint have any flavor or moisture that good cakes typically have. Was too dry and dint taste like cake from a good bakery. Never going back here.
Stopped by this gem while staying at a hotel connected to the plaza. Great scones, and the cake I had at night was awesome also! Definitely a unique find in a great shopping plaza.
One of the best bakeries in town.
The guava cake is my favorite
We've ordered a mini cake from this bakery before and it was okay, so we decided to try it again when we were craving something sweet. This time, we ordered a mini burnt almond cake and were extremely disappointed. The cake had a strange smell, but we gave it a try anyway—only to be met with a taste resembling spoiled milk or rotten eggs, with a hint of lemon. We immediately spit it out, but even after just one bite, both of us ended up with stomach aches. This was a very disappointing experience.
We’ve found our new favorite bakery for birthday cakes, I preordered in person about 5 days in advance (we live walking distance so we just popped in to order) staff was very nice and detail oriented and pickup was easy breezy. The cake looked beautiful! It was perfect, not too sweet and very light and airy texture. I think what would make this cake stand out even more would be some sweet berries in the middle, like strawberries/blueberries for some extra flavor. Excited to try more of their cakes in the future.
Such a cozy bakery with the most delicious pastries and friendly staff! Everything is fresh, flavorful, and perfect with a cup of coffee. A must visit!
Tried the cakes- Mango Tango and Guava moose cake. Loved both the cakes. Had ordered Guava moose cake as it was something novel for a friend's birthday and everyone loved the cake. The cake was very soft and it was very sweet.
Would love to try other cakes as well as other items
This was the prune yard. location I visited .The pastrys are really good the staff where ok it's very clean and cozy lots of space to sit in side and to sit out side .I was very disappointed with there hot chocolate very very plain and tasted waterd down
Flower Flour has a few highlights, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t as enjoyable as I had hoped.
Croissant: The croissant was decent, but not the standout I expected. It had a good flaky texture but lacked the buttery richness that makes a croissant truly amazing. It was a bit on the dry side, and I was hoping for more depth in flavor. The sugar flour didn’t taste good at all. It felt overly sweet without balancing the flavors, and the texture wasn’t as light or airy as I expected. It didn’t quite live up to the standards I was hoping for, especially given the reputation.
Service: The service was disappointing. The staff were rude, and I felt like my questions and requests were met with indifference. It was clear they didn’t prioritize customer service, which made the visit feel uncomfortable.
Ambience: The ambience was decent. It was a nice space with a simple, cozy feel to it, though nothing about the environment stood out as exceptional. It made for an okay spot to enjoy a bite, but it didn’t have that special, inviting atmosphere I was hoping for.
Overall, Flower Flour has room for improvement. The food wasn’t up to par, the service was lacking, and while the ambience was decent, it didn’t quite make up for the other shortcomings. Wouldn’t rush back unless there’s an improvement in these areas.
The worst burnt almond . No flavor and we usually love burnt almond but we always get it at our standard place. Won't be back here . It was my daughters 30th and that is her favorite cake. I ended up throwing it away.

Go to Jane Ellen, Icing on the cake, they are a lot better. I am surprised to see the 4.5 stars rating, it’s too high

Came in to buy a small 3" tiramisu. First, for $10, it was packaged in a clear clamshell container, not the usual white box from a bakery. The tiramisu was sliding around in the container in the car.
Second, the cake was so dry. Very disappointing for the price.

Customer service was the best part. $9 mini burnt almond cake - 3 tablespoons of cake. The cake lacked cake and taste.
I ordered a cake for my son’s baptism and it was wonderful! The decoration was beautiful, and the cake was delicious. Everyone loved it!
