Had a really tasty and delicious lunch today with my friends. The food & drinks are very high quality, great variety on the menu and great vibes & atmosphere. I recommend the location and I’ll be returning

First time here. It was super lame.

Got asked 3 times if I was there for food delivery... No, I'm a customer. 😁
I asked for a pretzel specifically because they offer a special Beets Mustard that Sounded awesome! I even told him all of that verbally..

I then see him pull out a plastic bag full of pretzels.. And ten mins later i get a microwaved pretzel from said bag.. It looked good but the mustard was yellow...but Beets are Red...🫣

It's a store bought mustard. I already know it... But foolishly I eat it and when finished, I asked him if it was store bought or made in house. He was trying to convince me it's a special recipe. Then the chick comes out of nowhere and says so it's store bought... They ran out of their beet mustard and didn't have anymore so they gave me the yellow junk instead.... I WISH THEY WOULD'VE SAID SOMETHING
I would've gotten the queso or not gotten it at all🙄 I calmly told him that, and he was offended. Lame apology and service.

Won't go back.

We very much enjoyed the incredible vegan menu, the fermented foods and beers, such a welcoming and cool find in downtown San Jose! The soup of the week was full of flavors and hearty and came with Firebrand sourdough bread. Will definitely come back with friends in the evening!

4.5 stars. This is such a fabulous place. My 6yo daughter and I shared
- funk bowl with black rice, cabbage, cauliflower, black chickpeas and avocado (I didn't care for the lettuce in here but everything else was great), with kapusta fermented cabbage and mushroom
- a ginger soup with noodle. Flavorful and nourishing
- breakfast of champinon kombucha - very balanced flavor. Not as sour as most kombucha

My little one loved the kombucha and black rice and had quite a bit of the lettuce (even though I didn't like it as much). Big portions so I would recommend sharing.

Super cleansing and nourishing food. Nice music spinning in the background that gives an upbeat but relaxing atmosphere. We will be back!

I walked in to grab a drink before the bus came and they were so sweet and swift! They gave my Service dog and I wonderful treatment after getting refused service at MiniBoss because I only had my Service dogs digital ID and not a Physical one. You guys greatly improved my mood with amazing atmosphere and a delicious mocktail the Hecate😍🖤 Thank you!!

Finally was able to make it here for a quick bite to eat. The staff was very attentive and the food and ambiance were great. Note that this is a small space so you cant bring too large of a group

Food takes a bit but is made with care. Menu is entirely (?) vegan. Ferments, food and beverages are delicious. Small space, so don’t come with a big group.

Absolute gem of a place.
Loved the fermented food and the dips. The nachos were unlike any I have had before. Did not miss cheese on them. The drinks were delicious too.
We celebrated a friend's birthday here and the owner/server was kind enough to serve us a cookie cake with candles!

This small downtown taproom—with its cozy atmosphere, friendly vibe, and inventive kitchen—is a great spot to unwind. I dropped in for a belated happy hour and enjoyed a crisp pale ale. While I didn’t try the food, it looked like other patrons were more than satisfied. Definitely worth a visit—consider it a little “fermentation therapy” for your day.

Drinks were good!

I’ve been wanting to take my wife here for a lunch/dinner date, and today was the day!

Wendy, Felipé and Jose were all super friendly and welcomed us in. The ambiance and music were super chill, and the food was amazing!

Thank you guys for an awesome experience, and we will be back!
