Sat down at 8pm. Multiple cleared tables but they had to seat us at the end of a joined table with other parties. We had to ask the other parties to get up because we were physically blocked in. The servers could barely even get to us. I would rate the food higher, but they were out of sides, rice paper, appetizers, and drinks we wanted. The servers worked hard with what they had, but the restaurant was just operating above their means. Overall disappointing.

The worst BBQ, the worst service, the worst venue. Each person paid an extra $20, they charged us, told us the food was not there, and still charged us! Waited for half an hour, went hungry for half an hour

We came here at around 2pm just for them to say they "ran out of meat and appetizers". A Korean BBQ running out of meat? Interesting.

Wanted to try Gen again after many years. Walked in on a Sunday around 7 pm with a party of 3 and was quickly seated. They only take reservations for parties of 10+. Dinner is $29 per person and is a bigger menu than lunch. They also offer a premium menu for $20 more but I doubt it's worth the $. You can go somewhere else for better quality for that price

We tried a good amount of the menu. Majority were pretty low quality and mediocre. The best items were the beef and pork bulgogis, pork riblets, and hotteok. Then maybe the beef finger short rib, and yangyum galbi, and spicy calamari. Almost all the banchans and appetizers were trash. Especially the KFC, it's like 90% batter. Tofu soups were pretty bad.

I was expecting bad service from reading reviews, but it as surprisingly good. Grills were changed regularly, orders came out quickly, and they checked up on us regularly.

The place is huge and their pretty busy. Be prepared to smell like bbq afterwards. They need to update their ventilation system to the ones where vents are either built into the grill or can be pulled down low from overhead. They also need to turn down their edm music, way too loud. It's not a dam club

Overall, it's good value and service, but low/medium quality food and terrible environment

Quite a fair Korean BBQ restaurant, the 🥓🍖 pretty decent, really liked red wine pork belly and radish paper wrap.
There are quite a few choices, good for meat lovers.

The hosts could be a bit friendlier.
The music is waaaay too loud. You basically have to speak loudly to your friends/family that you are seated at your table with.
Our server was very polite. But he seemed very busy and forgot some of our items 2 times.

2 HRS WAITING TO NOT EVEN EAT HERE ! First we were told 35-40 min wait time ! Cool no worries we get it busy day!!
No problem . . . I come back and ask again ! They are like sorry they under quoted you YOU ARE 39 in the list and 40 min wait time ! ! !

We decide to wait and understand is Valentines day , we get it ! We are starving my kid is crying but oh well ! We know Valentines day is busy!

After 2 hrs !!! They finally take us ! We sit and GUESS WHAT ! ! !

They dont have the meats we wanted !!!

First underquoted and then no one let us know they are running out of menu options !!!

The Mexican server ignored us for 20 mins and I had to call the manager. They make the food super salty so that we cannot eat much meat and order beverage. The hoods don't work at all with BBQ smell are all over the restaurant.

Do yourself a favor, do not come, Service is slow, ordered 4 things, only have 1 came, and needs to have another round with only one meat again. Came here at 4:30pm, was told that no more shrimp, but need to upgrade with premium to have shrimp.

Very slow service. Their AYCE is good value but they never get you everything you ask for. We kept ordering 4 meats which is the limit everytime and they only brought 2 or 3 and never cared to let us know why the other meats weren’t brought out. We think it’s their strategy to lower costs in a sneaky way.

One star for the host at the front when we came in. She was extremely dismissive when we came in during lunch time to eat lunch. Sorry for interrupting your conversation with your coworkers. But if you don’t like to work here, don’t work here.

Our actual server was great. He did his best running around to help as many tables as possible. The food came relatively fast and beer came cold. Our section of Tables were tightly aligned which probably made it easier for servers and food runners, but definitely did not provide as comfortable of an experience as you would have hoped. All in all, it was alright

ALL YOU CAN EAT BUT YOU WILL TEMAIN HUNGRY. You want to waste your time come here Literally payed $30 per each person for a bunch of nothing, server had us waiting for 20minutes to order a round of meats the grilled got empty and started to burn we never got our sides nor the straws we politely asked, we had to remind our waiter three times at the end of the night we were only able to order 2 rounds, and we never got our sides or rice paper and they charged full price 😐 just support a small business.

The employees are trash now. I’ve gone 3 times 11/4, 11/19 and 12/04. Same thing each visit now. First time the host person to check us in was brushing her. As if it’s not a restaurant and we don’t know if your hair will fly in or food. They assign like 1 server to serve like 10 tables sooo every order is 45mins apart. Tables don’t have kimchi stuff ready anymore. It’s like we have to request. I’ve been going here for a few years now and this group of staffs are horrible. Not only one server helping everyone but have like 4 employees standing around. Gotta do better.
