Wow, this place is very special. The food is incredible (the best Ethiopian in SJ for sure), and the family that runs it is so sweet. I’ll be back - and with way more people!

One of my favorite restaurants in the Bay area. Great food and enviroment. I always get my order family style for my partner and I to share. I recommend taking the recommendations from the owners on what to order. The Alicha Wot was absoluetly amazing. Every time we go here the food is superb and very flavorful. 10/10

Oh my goodness, this place is just the best. The people are the absolute sweetest!! The food is amazing as well!! I had such an amazing meal and when I say the staff is so hospitable, I mean it. I hope more people come here this family is so lovely and the food is so so amazing. Thank you guys again for such a wonderful meal!!

I thought that when I came here I would see gojo, like sotaru gojo, but I ended up getting really good ethiopian food. So like the lesson is that just because something says gojo, doesn't mean there is gojo.

First time here after trying several other places. We got the meat combo and special kitfo and did not regret it. Food was amazing! I honestly couldn’t decide which of the dishes I liked best. The portions are also good sized as we couldn’t finish it all in one sitting (I usually pride myself on always licking the plate clean and I had to admit defeat). The staff/owners are wonderful, friendly, invested in your experience. Definitely will be coming back.

Came here for the first time after googling for an Ethiopian restaurant- was a very good choice. I ordered veggie and meat combo with my husband and my favorite was the yellow beans and chicken- seasoning was just right. The vibe seems authentic, they have a room with traditional clothes and plates with a mini tent in the ceiling. Perfect for chill Friday dinner

Delicious! We got the meat combo and veggie combo. It was more than the two of us could finish but it was the best Ethiopian food I’ve had! I can’t wait to come back. Great staff and service. Even the tea was delicious. Five stars!

We loved the service food and atmosphere of this restaurant. I’ve always wanted to try this restaurant and food and had the opportunity for an early dinner. It did not disappoint!

A wonderful restaurant! Every time I've been here the staff are extremely friendly and lovely to talk to - often giving recommendations and getting excited to show people new things about the cuisine. I would highly recommend coming here anytime.
