Came here for the first time after googling for an Ethiopian restaurant- was a very good choice. I ordered veggie and meat combo with my husband and my favorite was the yellow beans and chicken- seasoning was just right. The vibe seems authentic, they have a room with traditional clothes and plates with a mini tent in the ceiling. Perfect for chill Friday dinner
Delicious! We got the meat combo and veggie combo. It was more than the two of us could finish but it was the best Ethiopian food I’ve had! I can’t wait to come back. Great staff and service. Even the tea was delicious. Five stars!
We loved the service food and atmosphere of this restaurant. I’ve always wanted to try this restaurant and food and had the opportunity for an early dinner. It did not disappoint!
A wonderful restaurant! Every time I've been here the staff are extremely friendly and lovely to talk to - often giving recommendations and getting excited to show people new things about the cuisine. I would highly recommend coming here anytime.
Went with a party of 7, understandable that wait would be slightly longer, but it was out of line. Even the tables with less people around us waited a long time. The restaurant had like 3 seated tables, not even full. We waited around 20 minutes to get to order. The food after took an hour to come out. The 3 girls in the group got smaller plates with a bed of half injera while the 4 guys got large plates on a bed of full injera. The waiter said they just ran out of plates, but the order they came out didn’t make sense. They made sure to give the large plates to the men. Not only that, the guy who ordered the meat combo got an extra entree without ordering it, while the girl had the expected amount, still seemed like less food. Food itself tasted good, but not worth the wait. I hope they are not giving less portions to certain people, not fair as we are all paying the same price.
Really authentic food full of flavor, ice cold beers, friendly staff - this place has it all!
Abysmal service. It took over an hour to start getting food for our group of 7. We thought they were just making everyone's so they could be sent out at the same time, but no, between the first and last person served was 30 minutes. We had to constantly ask for more water and even went up and got it ourselves because no one was around for so long. When they did fill our water they took multiple people's cups and then gave back the wrong ones. Nasty that their health standards are so low in plain sight. They got our order wrong even after we explicitly asked them to read it back. Finally the worst part was that all the women in our group got smaller plates with half servings of bread and all the men got full plates even though we ordered and were charged full price for both. They claimed they ran out of plates. But there were 6 plates visible in the restraunt at the time and like 20 empty seats so that is a blatant lie. Would recommend to never go here.
I love this place!! Me and all my friends went here for my birthday and the people here are just so sweet💕 the main guy that’s always there is the sweetest ever and the food is amazing :)
I love this restaurant. My son takes coworkers and friends here frequently, and the food is amazing. When my son showed me the food through Zoom and pictures I went there to try it myself. Since I am Ethiopian-American myself, I can tell good food just by looking at it.
I have never eaten Ethiopian food before nor have I ever been interested in eating it. Stumbled upon this restaurant when out looking for food that was not Mexican, (nothing wrong with Mexican food. I love Mexican food but just wanted something else). I had no idea what to expect. So glad we stumbled across it. It was so good. If we were here for more than one night, I would definitely return. The staff were awesome. So friendly and welcoming. The food was so good and opened my eyes, (and stomach), to a new cuisine. The price was very reasonable. Do not let the empty restaurant put you off. Definitely worth a visit.

I love this restaurant. Their special kitfo is the best in town, I get take out at least once a week. There are other Ethiopian restaurants closer to my home but I go out of my way just for Gojo!

This food is closest to what my Ethiopian friend cooks. DELICIOUS. We got a veggie and a meat and veggie platter. Favourite dishes were missir wot, shiro and doro wot. They also offered THREE different hot sauces which were all amazing. The owner and chef is also incredibly kind and generous.
This place just reopened after renovation so it is a great time to visit. Very cute ambiance. Don't hesitate!

I never write reviews, but I just had to for this place. Great customer service and food! It was my boyfriend and I’s first time trying Ethiopian food and the owners were so patient in explaining the menu to us. They even brought us an extra plate for free and taught us how to eat it. Will definitely be coming back as regular customers! :)
