I loved: Mitten shito Yemisser wot Doro wot I liked: After kik Atakilt wot Gomen wot Kei wot Raw Kitfo special (beef) Ethiopian Coffee This was ok: Alitcha wot (dry) Ethiopian Spiced Tea Eating these #goodeats with my bare hands was an awesome cultural experience There are lots of unique flavors and textures and having a large group made things easy to share. Highly recommend dining in as they'll serve you raw kitfo properly. Ethnic rules apply for service and ambiance. It's dark as hell in the restaurant so speak up if you need something or else they'll ignore you.

this place is AMAZING!!! don't let these snowflakes who are scared regarding the location tell you different. the customer service is probably the best customer service i've experienced! they are super friendly and educational on the food and spices. the food was extremely good and there was plenty! we got the meat combo and veggie combo. the area is a safe area and i WILL be going back. A+

I seldom leave reviews but I felt this one is necessary, rarely do I have a memorable dining experience as delightful as this. Mamush, Saba and Jerry are wonderful. Inviting atmosphere and the food is delicious! As my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine, I will always remember this one. Thank you to the Gojo team! See you next time!

Eat here. The vegetarian special is a delicious example of the quality of traditional Ethiopian food. The dishes are fresh and the injera is springy and tangy. I had lunch there on a weekend and had a chance to talk to the owner/cook/waiter, Mamoush. So friendly and knowledgeable. Will return.

I enjoyed the food, but as a vegan or vegetarian be careful if you order a veggie dish and someone else orders a meat dish. Our table ordered meat and veggie dishes and it was all served on one large plate. So whether you have dietary differences or want to just have separate servings, be sure to clarify you need and/or want that, specifically. To clarify, I've been to a few Ethiopian restaurants in the Bay area and this is the first time I've had this experience. It was disappointing to not eat all of my veggie food because the meat was touching my portion. Maybe this is just the default way to be served, and again the food was very good!

Meat Combo : Doro Wot - chicken leg with the egg (right side) Kei Wot - beef cubes in red sauce (left) Alitcha Wot - marinated beef (center) It was pretty good! They give you extra Injeera to enjoy everything and it's very reasonably priced as well. I came here for lunch and the parking was pretty easy and the food came out pretty quickly. After I got served though, I didn't see the server until I paid, so the service could have been better

Great Restaurant and awesome portions of food. Excellent food quality, the meat was delicious. I got the meat combo plate and a boiled egg. Each bite was filled with the incredible taste you expected from authentic Ethiopian restaurants. I highly recommend taking time to get lunch here it will be a experience you won't regret.
The service was amazing! So much good for a great price. The staff was so full of fun and the man working did a great job of making me feel welcome. You gotta go!
