Food was very tasty and came out in a timely manner. The fish and the green beans were very fresh. Kids love the eggs. Soup was good too.

I was super excited to try this restaurant! It was 11:30 and the place was packed. But we got a table almost immediately. All customers were of some Asian descent so I believe that's a good sign for a Chinese restaurant. Their service was quick and efficient. The food was GOOD! My favorite were the Pan fried pork bun with vegetables and the Salt and pepper squid. The Beef chow fun with Mongolian sauce was neither spicy nor tasty. My hubby loved the Steamed shrimp and pea sprout dumpling and the Steamed chicken feet in black bean sauce. Recommend Golden Palace for a good Dim Sum!

Came here for lunar new year 2024. In an abundance of caution, we came just a little after opening at 10:00am! Good thing too, because by 10:30 the place was almost full. The menu is broad but hard to read because the font is so small. Siu Mai with cordyceps flower Couldn't really taste the cooked flowers on top, but the dumplings were large and savory Hargaw Nicely sized, a bit sticky covering otherwise tasty. Tofu skin roll Sloppy goodness, always fun texture to munch on. Siu mai Nothing remarkable here but not bad either. Again, size seems larger than normal. Cucumber with house special spicy Grade-A dish with good sized cucumber chunks and just the right amount of spice. Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce Undercooked so needed a lot of bite, especially the thicker stalks. Steamed chicken feet Yes all day, as long as you don't mind how you look when gnawing through the knuckles. Peking Duck Incredibly lean with hardly any fat or oily presence. Especially for duck cuts that are typically dripping in an oily mess. Yet the meat was still super flavorful and tender. Big thumbs up here. Lobster - Hong Kong style Hardly ever a fan of lobster, this was no exception. Lots of hard shells to navigate and not a lot of meat and lobster meat isn't really my favorite anyway. I don't understand the appeal of rubbery textures. Fish and Congee combo Some of the best pure congee EVER! The rice grains are soft and intact but there's no sense of wateriness and dissolution. The fish chunks, however, had way too many bones and scales. Way too much. Conversely, the combo comes with a large noodle plate which also has fish filet pieces that hardly have any bones in them at all. Go figure. Overall - surprisingly delicious and high quality food. Don't let the old sign outside fool you. That's all

It is a hidden gem of Cantonese restaurants. Went there for dinner. Dim sum was not available. But congee was available and they serve quick! The Peking duck and roared pork belly was good. Hot dishes are good too.

I like its lobster e-noodles. Dim Sum is good. Seating area is a bit too crowded.

We went there yesterday for dim sum and it was honestly so good. The sesame balls were crispy on the outside and soft inside and were the most fresh I've had in a long time. The baked char siu bao was sweet and delicious. Every dish felt like it was made that morning which is not always the case at South Bay dim sum restaurants.

Their dim sum is good, not the regular menu. We have been coming here for almost 20 years , but won't do it again for dinner. The price keeps going up. A bowl of sweet and sour soup now costs $19.99. The menu itself stinks, not sure what caused it, maybe some bad printing ink. They always try to upsell you their fish dishes, and the roast duck costs $52.99 and actually tastes pretty bad.
