Hajis Restaurant & Catering is a terrific and cozy spot in the heart of Willow Glen. The atmosphere is unpretentious and cute, with plenty of seating. The service is excellent, above and beyond, and very attentive. Reviews highlight the spectacular, flavorful, and delicious food. Many note the samosas are terrific and better than any others, with sauces that compliment them well. Specific dishes receive high praise: the butter chicken is spectacular, the chicken qorma is flavorful with tender chicken, the biryani is spectacular and really good, and the daal makhni is really good. The Nihari is mentioned as exceptionally good. There is a kick of spice to the food, orders come with a lot of it, and there are many choices of gluten free and vegetarian dishes clearly marked on the menu, including vegan samosas and a vegan tikka masala. The restaurant is highly recommended for its 10/10 quality of food and service.
