Regrettably, I cannot recommend this restaurant. I love Korean food, and would have loved to try the s local restaurant. I am a disabled vet with a small service dog. They started off poorly by refusing my access even though when they said no dogs, I informed them it was a Service Dog. He was suited up and in service. The server went back to ask the owner and there was a bunch of commotion. Embarrassing and not comfortable. Then the server came out and said the owner did not understand. (If I am running a restaurant I would be sure to understand health and legal regulations). It sounded like it was very uneasy but they would possibly allow my service dog, but very very uneasily. I just had to decline, but did hand them. A card explaining the American Disability Act of 1990. Bummer, I would've really enjoyed being a patron and being able to comfortably dine on their dishes.

I got takeout: 2 orders of galbi beef short rib , chicken katsu, and dumplings. Galbi portion was so little and filled with cabbage on the bottom. $33 for an order of Galbi here and the meat is tough, some pieces I can't even chew. For $33 you can get higher portion at a different Korean restaurant 5 min away. We were very disappointed. The chicken katsu was alright. We will not be coming back.

Delicious Korean food at a competitive price compared to other Korean restaurants in the South Bay. I like that they offer a non-spicy version of tteokbokki, as I prefer the savory quality to it and most Korean restaurants only sell the spicy version. Their soft dumplings are on the smaller side, but tasty and come with 12 for $11. Really good offering of side dishes, especially if you opt to eat in instead of take out.

Wow, wife brought home food from this restaurant a while back and it was tasty. I decided to try them out dine in and I think this is the best Korean spot in the south bay! Our server was not just friendly- he felt like a real friend. I ordered a Korean rice alcohol beverage and he explained it to me, even though he himself didn't drink much. The beverage was so good! My kids loved the japchae and everything we had was delicious (short ribs, fried rice, fried chicken, and sides). Many places with great food and service are crowded but this place is a hidden gem. My fam can't wait to come back and try the other dishes!

My wife and I had the fried chicken, spicy pork hot stone pot and seafood tofu soup. All were excellent. Hot stone pot had that crispy rice texture that you just can't get with regular bibimbap. Good quality ingredients. Same with the seafood tofu soup with clams and shrimp. Banchan side dishes were excellent as well - the usual stuff but prepared better compared to other Korean restaurants in the area. Service was a little slow, but overall great experience. Will definitely be back!

Finally! We found a place that makes delicious Korean food in South San Jose. We could've kept eating their homemade side dishes that were so yummy but had to stop to leave room for our main dishes. We ordered spicy pork in hot stone, fried chicken, and tofu soup with seafood. Everything was amazing. This cozy place is run by a lovely family. They definitely put a lot of love and hard work in preparing everything on the menu. I recommend eating there instead of taking it to go. Dishes will be much enjoyed when served and eaten in traditional Korean stone pots and bowls. We can't wait to go back!

I highly recommend this place for its delicious food. However, I rated it 3/5 due to a significant price increase and other factors. It's disheartening as this was my favorite lunch spot, but now, with higher prices and popular meals removed, I'm uncertain about returning. The new menu, especially the separate charges for meat and sides, is confusing and needs clarification. I used to breeze in for a quick takeout, typically under 20 minutes. Today was different - the familiar options were gone, the menu was confusing, price increases, and it took 45 minutes to get my order. I'm patient, but I'm genuinely disappointed with the abrupt changes. While I understand the need for a revamp, the execution seems rushed, and regular customers like me will voice concerns. A more smooth approach to these changes would have been preferable. I would also like to add I'm not sure if it's because i'm bothered of all the changes but the food doesn't event taste the same- seems like they got new ownership or chef...

If you're going to increase your prices, don't skimp on the sides. It's nice that each plate now comes with 5 sides but as I found out today, if you order 3 plates, they only include enough sides for 2 of the plates. I literally got a set of sides that was labeled 2 and the other 3. I spoke to someone at the restaurant, thinking they had forgotten to include the number 1 set. I was informed that they only include a set 2 and 3 for orders of 3 plates. Ummm what!? Needless to say, I was not happy that I had to eat my meal without sides.

This place is brand new. When you get to the restaurant you can preview their menu before going inside the restaurant. It was hard to choose from because they have everything from ramen, bulgolgi and tofu soup. The waitress was so kind and attentive. The place was pleasant, clean. There's not a whole lot of tables so seating is limited. It was really good.

The Food here is great. Unfortunately they have priced themselves out of my lunch time option list. I order the Spicey Pork Bulgogi and it used to be 17.99 well after todays total of $27.54 i will no longer be able to go back for lunch. I understand the need for price increases but this was a little much.

They've raised prices since 2024! The prices increase dramatically from 10% to 40% depending on the items. Yes, the portion is bigger than before. But somehow the taste is not as good as how it was. It's just.... average now. Not bad but also not impressive. I wonder if they changed the chef? I'm sad cuz it was my favorite 5-star takeout restaurant! I used to love their Spicy Pork, Bibimbap, Tteokbokki and literally all items so much! Now since everything has changed, I would only it rate 3.5 stars. Note: No soup in the non spicy Tteokbokki anymore. (All my photos were taken before 2024. They have changed the packaging now.)
