This is a top spot in San Jose! Everything is a 10/10, from the drinks/food to the kindness of the baristas. The bulletin board of local events and workshops brings the warmth of a small town coffee shop, despite being located right near downtown. If you needed a recommendation for a great coffee spot to try, this is it!
3 stars because the coffee is good. Service is ok. I've been there 4x now, and only once was greeted in a friendly and kind manner.

Needed to waste some time before going to an event, 4 of us stopped in for coffee at about 2:45 on a Saturday afternoon. One drink wasn’t “ordered”, so it had to be ordered again and instead of getting it out asap, it was ready in the order it was ordered. Finally got an apology from one of the staff. Drinks were good but felt they could have provided better service.

Stopped by to get a latte and smoked salmon bagel before catching an early morning Greyhound. Both were yummy. It's great that this cafe is open early.

The closest coffee shop to Caltrain. I had never heard of a banana chai so I gave it a try and I'm so glad I did. It's now my favorite chai latte for sure. And it's just a quick walk from the Cahil Park, which is a quiet place to enjoy your coffee.

Now this place some pretty spectacular coffees. I enjoy this place because it is right by my house and I can just walk right on over there every morning and look inside the windows and watch them making the drinks any way that you want them.
If you're big into coffee, and I'm not talking about the Starducks and Peters, then this is a place for you to come check out. I'm sure it will sway you in such a lovely way that it will soon become your go-to. Thank you.

I'm a little ashamed that it has taken me so long to write a review, considering I am here nearly every day. My go-to "office" after my morning workout; the staff is lovely, and the coffee is great. It definitely has a small, indie, local vibe, which I love. It's not big, but you can usually find a space to work. Wifi is strong, though only one outlet if you need such things :-)

The atmosphere is nice, staff friendly, and service quick. Food wise, very disappointing. The coffee honestly tasted like water. The veggie sandwich was two thumbs down 👎🏻👎🏻 and a regretful purchase. Clump of microwaved egg, massive pieces of onion, the slice of tomato was only a tomato skin, the cheese wasn't melted, and the sandwich had zero flavor. If you want to enjoy breakfast, don't order The Veggie.

I like to support local businesses, but please be worth it! Came in, one person ahead of me and with one person working at about 11:45am. Told me to order on the kiosk pad as she had 3 drinks to make. A few more workers came in. Waited for a simple breakfast sandwich until 12:08 from an order made at 11:46. One slice of cheese, one slice of ham and an egg on sourdough bread that was dry.
