Friendly staff. Their veggie breakfast sandwich is so good! All the best parts of a veggie sandwich. Cafe is small but there is usually seating outside as well.

I heard many great things about this place and was excited to finally try it, I got an iced mocha and the chicken pesto panini. The panini was absolutely DELICIOUS, probably one of the best chicken pesto's panini's I've ever had. The latte on the other hand wasn't anything special, I was especially disappointed since I heard they're known for their great coffee :( Another negative thing I had when I came here was the staff, they weren't the friendliest and it felt like I was bothering them when I walked in, even when I went up to the register there was no "welcome" or "how are you". I work in the food industry so I understand if someone isn't having the best shift but even if it's a fake smile or something it would make the atmosphere a bit better. I would definitely come back and try this place again, maybe I got unlucky that time.

Corner coffee shop on Alameda - plain and bland interior with minimal indoor seating. No public bathrooms. Service was okay - I asked for a small and he gave me a regular though. There were only two pastries available - a croissant and a cupcake.Food is actually great! The breakfast sandwiches we ordered were great tasting, good whole ingredients, and not soggy. Our sandwiches came with a mini red velvet cupcake too.The coffee though…. Way too sweet. My latte was disgustingly sweet I couldn’t even drink 25% of it. The chai was basically just a cup of milk and you couldn’t taste the spice.Items Ordered: Iced vanilla latte with cinnamon, iced chai tea latte, green eggs and ham breakfast sandwich, chicken pesto panini.

Sometimes come here on weekends for sandwiches. They're mostly good. One thing I do notice is that if you order online, sometimes the items won't be available. I've ended up ordering pastries/bread and gotten a cookie instead without being told.

I have been coming here since I moved to California in 2013. Even after I moved out of the south bay, I made a point to stop at Hannah at least once every time I came back to the area. The pastries were amazing, the coffee delicious, and the ambiance/friendliness of the staff unparalleled. After the pandemic, the menu changed but it was still amazing pastries and coffee and people behind the counter. I was absolutely shocked when I visited today. Everything that made this place what it was seems to have been thrown out the window. Gone are the delicious homemade pastries and cupcakes. Everything looked store bought and bland. The coffee menu seems to have been cut down as well. But the most disappointing thing for me was the lack of warmth coming from behind the counter. Three unsmiling people just going about their business making food and coffee in silence. It isn't bad, by any means, but it isn't great anymore either. I know that the place has changed hands a few times, but I'd like to hope that whoever owns it now will take some time to reflect on what used to make the place great and invest in bringing back those elements. As it stands, if you're in the area, you'll have a perfectly adequate experience here. But I wouldn't go out of my way, and I certainly won't be making any special trips here like I used to.

I ordered the ultimate BLT and a latte through a food delivery app and it was so good I had to come to Google reviews to tell the masses! The sourdough.... *Chefs kiss* I can't wait to check this place out in person!

Happened to pass Hannah Coffee while searching for a chai and decided to try. Oat chai latte was 10/10 - definitely the best I've had since leaving Portland! Mediterranean sandwich was so good and very fresh. Recommend!! (Also, less important to me, but I realize important to others...FRIENDLY SERVICE!)

This is one of the nicest iced vanilla lattes I've had. Usually there's only 2-3 other people sitting in the cafe when I order so the wait is short. Love to get coffee after my shift and the iced vanilla latte hits every time

Great coffee and sandwiches!Unfortunately they don't have a customer restroom available due to the building being built & designed predating the 2004 requirement. Hopefully they can find a solution that's not telling customer to use the restroom at Whole Foods which may or may not be available.(Updated to reflect owner reply)

Neighborhood gem. Great coffee, pastries and sandwiches. The mini cupcake with each sandwich order is a nice touch. Today the cupcake was green for St Patrick’s Day.
