The teriyaki trio plate gave me food poisoning that night.
Taste-wise, only the chicken was decent (not great). The beef and pork were each thin, tough strips with almost no flavor and probably badly cooked. The beef rice was mediocre.
The plate plus a regular soft drink cost over $17. For a nearly tasteless, tough dish that gave me food poisoning.
Also, the seating area looked fairly clean, but smelled like a restroom. Never been in a restaurant that smelled that bad.

Had #10 sampler.. All meat on plate super dry no flavor unless you bury it terriyaki or hot sauce, but maybe thats how some people like it as there are good reviews here or people that dont have taste.

Happi House has been a cherished spot for years when I was growing up. Eating it with my family is definitely one of my memories I have as a child. It's located off McKee Road, it’s easy to find with its large, unmistakable sign.
Teriyaki Chicken Meal 🍗 Juicy and flavorful on its own, but a dab of spicy soy sauce takes it to the next level. Paired with seasoned rice and the crunchy noodle salad, it’s a well-balanced, satisfying meal.
Teriyaki Beef Side 🥩 A great addition for those craving extra protein with bold, marinated flavors.
Chicken Salad 🥗 A crisp, refreshing option that complements the savory dishes perfectly.
Onion Rings 🧅 A light, crispy side that adds a touch of indulgence to the meal.
Miso soup 🥣 Very light for me. I had to add some salt in it to bring out the flavor. It was good after that.
I just wished there was a bathroom so I can wash my hands before and after eating. There wasn't any bathroom for me to use in the WHOLE plaza. So I recommend bringing some wipes or hand sanitizer.
Happi House feels like a healthier alternative to typical fast food, offering balanced meals that are perfect for busy families.

The cashier/server today yelled and was rude to me because I was asking for sauce for shirmp when she said what she had was tempura sauce. Well, a customer service staff can say it in a good way. I am not invoking the customer is always right saying.
I came back and told this person that she should not yell just for asking.
I wonder if she would act the same way if the person asking for shrimp sauce or tempura sauce is not a person of color.
