They don't pick up the phone and they are not open Monday afternoon even though there is no note about closing in afternoon

Do NOT choose this place for DoorDash. Called this location to ask what happened and no one spoke English. They canceled our order that we waited over 2 hours and the dasher was at the restaurant waiting for our food for 30-40min. Was not notified by either party of the cancelation. The only notification received was the dasher waiting for the food then it was on the way.Doordash took care of this problem but the restaurant said "no doordash" and everything spoken before and after was in Chinese.Get your restaurant off Doordash if you don't want any customers from them. My husband and I work odd hours in Healthcare and just wanted to choose a place to eat and have it delivered while we take care of things around the house. But waiting for 3 hours to be notified that it was cancelled is ridiculous. I've had restaurants call us and let us know. This was just canceled and refunded. Would've been nice to know so we could order something else immediately because we were too exhausted to move around.

Placed order via their website for set meal $30 - 3 dishes and fried rice. When I arrived, they asked for $35. When the food was ready, they asked for additional payment for the fried rice (In addition to the $35 already paid). This place will cheat you/rip you off. DO NOT GO!

Went in person to order since they only speak Chinese over the phone to order ahead after reading others' reviews. Ordered the sweet and sour fish, green beans, and peking pork chops. The worker gave me an English menu to read and circle which items I wanted and gave it back to her. I got the $30 combo where you get three dishes and it comes with rice and soup. It took around 30-40 minutes to get the food. It's a ton of food for the price, but that's definitely the quality you get. It was nothing special, very much like a more authentic Chinese fast food. The sweet and sour fish was good but a little too sweet for me. The green beans were the best thing in my opinion. It was sautéed with garlic and pickled vegetables and had great char. The peking pork chops were good, but also a little too sweet for me. I got hot and sour soup and was not much of a fan. It was very one note and all sour with nothing else. Good value for food, but only would come back if I was in a pinch.

Good north Eastern Chinese food restaurant. They do have dishes from other provinces. We like the toothpick cumin lamb.

I think the food at Happy House is really good considering it's technically "fast food." I almost always order chicken. It comes with tempura and salad. The chicken is juicy and well-seasoned. I don't think you can go wrong with Happy House. Their food is high quality, tastes great and is a lot healthier than a burger and fries, although they also happen to serve great-tasting burgers!

Food was really good. The salt & pepper pork chop was well-seasoned (MSG was not added because I wasn't sleepy after). But I did have difficulty when ordering due to the cashier unable to speak English at all. When I was pointing out my orders in the English side of the menu, the cashier will flip the menu to the Chinese side. But she still couldn't understand that the cashier had to take out Google Translate & translate the English text of the menu. I actually I pointed out the "Eggplant with Garlic Sauce," then the cashier responded "Mapo Tofu" (I know Mapo Tofu because of a certain Korean Cooking show, portrayed the dish). I told the cashier "No, eggplant," the dish did come out as eggplant but in chili/spicy sauce (not garlic sauce).

Don't speak English. Menu confusing. Food tasteless.

Awesome and flavorful food, I love the vibes this place has, and the workers were super friendly. Will definitely come back.

Learned the hard way that dinner phone orders can only be done in Chinese. Sunday night I called and asked asked in English to order a family combo, only to receive 'no English' in reply. I thought the person would get an English speaker on the phone, but the line went dead moments later. What!? Gave 2 stars only because my Chinese speaking friends recommend it, Find a Chinese speaker to order for you.

It is a good place to order some food to go. Their some northeast traditional dishes are good. Three dishes family meal is a good deal.

This place has a wide selection of Chinese cuisine with focus on northern Chinese food. Due to the pandemic, customers can order only from their takeout menu. I have ordered from this place three times, the order was ready before I got there every time. The food was also delicious, and at least a couple of dollars cheaper than other local restaurants. If I want to be nitpicking the lady took order on phone didn't sound very friendly. Considering the food quality and price this place deserves 4+ stars .

For $30 (including tax & tips) the portion are huge and it comes with rice!!! Pork kidney with brown sauce: very good it is mild spicy and the peppers are crunchy, pork kidney are unique taste so might not for everyone but I love it. Pork intestines hot pot: not very satisfying but still taste good, it is a dish traditionally make with pork blood and other offal but here they substitute with tofu = Singapore noodle: omg this taste like Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng I think it is a must have, taste like my childhood, however I never have the actual rice noodle from Singapore so I can only like what I remember Egg tomato cucumber Soup: it is a bit bland but everything else were very spicy heavy and salty so this is a nice refreshing finish to my meal, also did I mention this is free!

We have not been here for a long time. During our time of absence, the restaurant may have changed hand more than once. Anyway, we decided to give it a try. Their website is not updated at all. They no longer serve the signature dish, smoked meat and pancake. The combo menu is now $30 (tax already included). I think the only reason people will come here is price. Their combo menu includes three dishes you pick from a special menu. Rice and soup are included. We ordered pork in Peking sauce, shrimp with tofu and sweet and sour fish. The tofu dish is super bland as if they forget to put salt in it. The sweet and sour fish is decent, exactly what you would expect. The pork in Peking sauce is average. The portion is huge for the price. For $30, this is a good place to get a basic meal if you don't have time to cook.

I visit this place a lot since I work right next to it. I got to say their service is always awesome and they keep the spot neat consistently. Pricing is fair and they serve large portions.
