I enjoyed a very tasty soup I ordered. I was quite happy to be full and it was very easy on the stomach not bad for a first time here. Place is nice and clean doubles as a donut shop in the same space. Good service worker at the register. Answered one of my, I guess crazy questions it was answered I was kinda embarrassed to come out of no where. I was lead here from the street. I was walking in the side walk heading to the light. When suddenly I smelled a wonderful aroma of BBQ. So I followed my nose till I just walked right in after looking at the menu they had on the window. Made my selection and win for us good. Guys who live on one ramen soup a day. This was like an upgrade power up win! I'm out come here just follow your nose.

I really like Loco moco and BBQ. I was excited to find a place that had both! They tasted great and price was so much cheaper than expected and they have good, hearty portions! I was amazed.

Kalua was too salty & Mac salad was bad. Please put your Mac salad in the the fridge because it’s very warm inside your donut/food joint to leave it out in the walk. Mahalo nui.

Pleasantly surprised ? just a hole in the wall mom n pop but pretty good food. Pig n cabbage had a nice kiawe smoke to it , could use a touch more meat but was pretty darn good for some off island bbq. I'd be back anytime.

The couple that runs this establishment is very sweet. The food is amazing and have been coming here long before the Hawaiian “big chain” opened up the street. Always enjoy the musubi, chicken katsu, and loco moco but the honey walnut shrimp and orange chicken are delicious as well.

BLAND! I'm shocked people have given this place 4-5 stars. Two family members ordered the steak plate. Meat was overcooked, veggies tasted watery from the steamer and had no flavor. I ordered the BBQ chicken plate and the macaroni was just okay. I've had better. Food was eatable but don't get me started about the disgusting sauce they included. It tasted old and bitter. We would not recommended this place to anyone. The run down decorations didn't bother us because that's not what makes a place but the food didn't hold up to the reviews.

The food is good but like everything else they are a bit overpriced. I don't like the chicken skin being included on top an already thin slice of meat.I've been there twice and even though they have lots of tables I haven't seen anyone eat in there. Its always cold because they leave the doors wide open .
