The South Indian food is excellent. fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The dosas and chutneys are especially good.

A special mention to Ahmed, who makes an outstanding filter coffee. It was rich, aromatic, and the perfect way to finish the meal.

Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy authentic South Indian cuisine.

I really love the coffee and the food here at Idly Express, Almaden. Ahmad bhai really looks after his customers and remembers their choice of the coffee.

One of the best South Indian vegetarian places located in multiple locations in Bay Area. I hope they bring in all the daily specials to the everyday menu. More variety will be nice. Ahmad and team are very friendly !

I had an exceptional experience at this restaurant, largely thanks to Ahmed's outstanding service. The food from Mylapore/Idli Express never disappoints. It's a to-go spot but they offer a few outdoor tables that are perfect for grabbing a quick bite. Ahmed's warm smile and attentive demeanor truly made it a fine dining experience for us. Other restaurants could really learn a thing or two from him. Highly recommend!

This is my go-to for comfort food.
It's a quick service, mostly take-home spot and everything tastes homemade and authentic. The food is fresh, never oily and feels healthy. The filter kaapi (coffee) deserves a special shout-out and is consistently good! The $5 specials are incredible value as well.
Ahamed and the team here are always warm and welcoming.

Best place to have South Indian food. We visited the place on Sunday and had the South Indian combo meal. It had 1 idli, 1 vada, 1 masala dosa, sambhar, coconut chutney and onion garlic chutney. We also had one filter coffee and 1 mango lassi. It is having seating outside the restaurant.

In evening on weekends they have Puri sabji combo offer also, which is also very tasty. Must place to visit.
