Ordered 3 burritos today and they aren't the same like before. They weren't wrapped properly. All 3 were half full and there were like 2-3" of tortilla on each end. Shrimps were waaayyyyy overcook. We ordered at this place many times and this would be our last. The quality is getting worse and worse.

This review is only for takeout, not for eating at the location. Something has changed at Iguanas. I don't know if it is the ownership, recipes or the chefs, but the quality of the food has diminished. The burrito was slightly off in flavor, the tortilla seemed old. The Carne Asada in the street tacos were chewy. The Al pastor tacos tasted like they had been seasoned after cooking. The orange iguana sauce which I am usually a big fan of was watery and not nearly as flavorful as in the past. I hope this was an outlier order. I'll go back and try it again, as I normally love their offerings. If so, I'll rereview it with that rating.

Place is horrible. They don't have a phone to place an order or cant answer any questions. The online ordering is stupid. Can't custom your order or any edits at all. Once it's place you can't correct your orders or ask them anything. There is no line of communication and are low on product. It's literally you get what you see and be happy with it. They won't even do the bare minium of customer support. Worst place I experienced iguanas at this location.

Apologies for an almost 4 year delay in writing this review, but the more I think about that burrito, the more I miss it. My friend is in CA currently and I not only recommended it to him, but considered asking him to bring one back for me--but alas, he won't be near it on his return to FL. (where I live). Several years ago I was in San Jose for a job, and my colleague and I got burritos to go back to our Airbnb. It was the easiest to accommodate my vegetarian diet, and her carnivorous ways.
There was so much burrito, I wrapped some of it up for the following day and took it on a hike in the Portola Forest. It was SO GOOD, and to this day I have found no burrito that holds a candle to the one I had there. If I wasn't dehydrated and thoroughly car sick to boot, I probably (no, definitely!) would've gotten another one for the following trip home.

Got the asada super burrito. It wasn't horrible but wasn't great either. The portion was a bit little for the price. I always liked their orange sauce. $47 for 2 burritos and 2 drinks. Super taqueria was $22 for 2 burritos and they tasted amazing with fair portions. I probably won't come back here again.
Good food, Hella expensive. $15 for a burrito is a bit steep. Plenty of mexican restaurants that offer something similar at a good price. Great vegetarian option.
