Ordered the we’re just friends sandwich with all the stuff in a combo with chips and drink. The sandwich was awesome - the bread wasn’t dry or too big compared to the contents inside. Combo came with a Carmel apple sucker as a bonus. Only negative was the competing music between the 80s in the lobby and the uncensored hip hop from the supply room.

I ordered the Madison Bumgarner here and for the bread, I selected the sourdough bread. The burger consisted of steak, pepper Jack, American cheese, yellow BBQ sauce, and a bit of Habanero sauce. This sandwich combo is one of my favorites whether I go to Ike's. However, I give it four stars because the meat could be a bit more evenly distributed.Amorite of the meat was in the middle and whenever I bit the side of the sandwich, there was no meat at all.This order was a takeout order so service was very quick and I didn't have to wait long. This is a good casual spot to go to for a quick lunch or dinner.

Writing this mid sandwich... came in on the later side which always makes me feel bad but the guy working was great despite this. I got home to find my sandwich made perfectly and it really hit the spot. Thank you to the guy who helped me out, it was delicious!

My son introduced me to this place, I tried in San Diego I loved it, but today we visited one in San Jose , staff was not friendly but rude at 8.30 they said we can’t do fried sandwich and the for veg they cannot fried eggplant, you cannot use washroom as we mopped the floor….you better close the location. If you are open till 9 pm means you service till and start you clean up after …my worst experience
I only leave reviews when a restaurant is extremely unsatisfactory. This Ike’s location on Curtner doesn’t know how to follow instructions at all. I asked for all of the vegetables and they decided to remove all of them. I also decided to pay for “premium” onion rings which cost nearly four dollars and they decided to not include those either. Although the atmosphere looked decent, that doesn’t really matter when everything else is bad.

Last time I ordered a gluten-free vegetarian sandwich here. After using the restroom, I was told by the servers that none of their vegetarian sandwiches are gluten-free, even asking about several sandwiches. So, I moved on to the nearby Halal Guys that day. I don't think I will be coming back. The Ike's Love and Sandwiches website makes it seem as if they have options for every dietary restriction/allergy.At least the restroom was clean.Contact us has 200 characters as a limit, what a joke. There *are* gluten free and vegetarian options at Ike's Love and Sandwiches, but I don't want to eat a spit-on sandwich or for earned$$ to go to some spat-on, $ubway-vibe: pay for a 4$ juice box to use the restroom type of place. Maybe I got a refund. Maybe I didn't.Run away. Places that don't want certain folks will say they don't have items they obviously have and make sub-par food if/when they do serve y'all... or will let you sit there waiting to be served while everyone around you gets water and their order taken. Been there, done that... and walked out that time too.

I am a former employee of Ike's and a long time loyal customer. However this evening I was disappointed and dissatisfied. I ordered 3 sandwiches over the phone. 1 vegan go sharks on sourdough, 1 vegetarian time travelers wife on Dutch crunch and 1 vegetarian James and the giant peach on Dutch crunch. The vegan go sharks came on Dutch crunch bread, not sourdough. This may be an unpopular opinion but I am not a fan of the Dutch crunch so when I got home and unwrapped my sandwich I was extremely bummed out that my sandwich did not come on sourdough as ordered.The James and the giant peach came on sourdough bread and this was my husbands sandwich. He is a big fan of Ike's Dutch crunch and he was also bummed to unwrap his sandwich seeing it was sourdough.Overall the sandwiches were edible but they did not come how we ordered them. I would also like to note that the receipt stapled to the bag was correct. This was simply lack of attention.As a former Ike's employee myself, I can understand mix ups when you're busy. However, I was the only customer in the restaurant. They could have been busy with phone/online orders but I am just really disappointed with the experience today. This is not the first time this location has messed up our order.I hope for better accuracy next time.

This location is absolutely the worst. Ordered a vegetarian sandwich, told them thrice to make it vegetarian. Got home and checked and it had bacon. Had to go back and waste 45 mins and explain the mistake to them. They showed attitude and didn't initially even apologize. These guys don't care if they get the order wrong. First learn basic customer service, get the order right and especially if it's vegetarian be extra careful. What I consider as basic needs to be taught to the guys at the location. A piece of joke, will never visit this location again.
